are you just swapping the coils? if so you can use the truck to compress the springs and unpress the springs easily its not sketchy at all ive done it alot back when i had my 6112s

The Westcott kit adds a thicker perch for the spring to sit on which adds preload to the spring to give it lift. I have to take it apart and switch out the perch.

No. It goes below the spring. You have to take the coil off the shock, knock the spring perch off and put the new perch on. Then put the coil back together. It basically does the same thing as adding preload to an adjustable to get a higher lift.

hmm odd but doing it the way i talked about will work for your needs there is a few videos on youtube of people doing it so as long as you have a good jack and jack stands and some tools you can do it

I'll have to look at the videos. I know it sounds really sketchy but it may not be. Thank you.

The local shop has one but I would rather do it myself. If I have to take it to them I will just have them put the whole thing on.

The thing I like about this one is I get to keep my Sport suspension. The truck spends most of its time on the road so I would rather have it tuned for that over off road. The Sport suspension is plenty capable off road.

its meh suspension tbh its just 5100s going to a 6112 is a better coilover that rides really nice on road and will last years of abuse off road like mine did until i blew them out

I'm actually going to the Dobinson next year. I just want to get this one on now. I am tired of banging skid, frame and cross member.
