Hey guys. This looks like a tricky one I may just take to the mechanic.
Got back from advanced auto and got three codes, all p106b which means I need a better scanner as they are one of these

    Vapor Pressure Pump sensor
    Air Pump Pressure sensor (Absolute)
    Air Pump2 Pressure sensor (Absolute)

    2012 reg cab 2.7l 140,00 miles

    Any thoughts people?

Does the 2.7l have an air injector like the v6?

Oh yea I just put a uni filter on it. One pressure switch is in the carbon canister and two are in the air valves, but this is in the fuel/air mixture system not the secondary air injection system which is separate, but Im not sure. Emissions stuff if any one given part of the mixture is out of wack you get a cel, that way it works optimally or it doesnt at all.

P106B means the pressure sensors for the Secondary Air Injection System and the EVAP system don't agree when the engine is off, you will need a scan tool that can display data for both sensors to see which one is not reporting correctly and then troubleshoot that sensor.

Yes the 2.7L 2nd gens all had Secondary Air Injection, it wasn't added to the 4.0L until 2012.

Oh no not in limp mode. I can disconnect the battery and it seems to go away for a month maybe.

Cool thanks. Im guessing a canister then, but Ill take it in, could be the secondary air injection valve (yes I only have one) sensor.
It started doing this after I cleaned the throttle body, coincidence I guess.
