I went from the stock all season tires on my sr5 to slightly wider ones, and maybe a 1/2'' taller A/T tires. Only affected my mpg a few tenth's, and i think that was more to do with running a little lower air pressure in the a/t tires.

Stock truck and I consistently get around 21-24 MPG. Mainly highway miles.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
If you paid attention to the original post, it's a 2.7L. If you know Tacos, that's a 4 cylinder.

I've been getting close to 20-21mpg with 6 cylinder. Pretty accurate from my calculations.

I get 18.7 mpg in the summer, 17.7 in the winter. City mileage on a stock OR V6. I’m pretty sure SouthernFried and my mileage are the norms for stock highway and city.

U believe in time travel .................right?

that any moto / car or diesel dashboard gauges can be accurtae

    negates driving environs

    driving habits

    state o tune o engine ( lack thereof !! )

no less injection requires a return line to the tank

    so what is it measuring....................................

fuel wasted result of bad environs / tune

    fuel returned trailing throttle

that sensor must look like porcupine

I still don't understand the spaces. are you trolling people by putting returns in the MIDDLE of sentences just to make them hard to read?

I'm being serious, I see your posts all the time and they are almost impossible to read. You are doing extra work to have the comments make LESS sense, why?

There is something about a return line. I don't believe the new trucks use one, older systems did. That didn't change the fuel calculation since that is measured by injector pulse duration. Injector time open = fuel used, the computer knows the exact amount of time the injector is open and how much fuel flows when its open, hence it knows how much fuel was used, there is no "sensor" to do so. It has to know this to very high precision in order to have the engine run properly.
