I finally got around to watching this, good call.
I'm not a baseball fan but I had heard generally good things about it, just a well done film, worth a watch.

Just finished re-watching Sound & Fury on Netflix.

Basically a 41 min long post-apocalyptic anime music video set to a Sturgill Simpson soundtrack.
A mix of animation styles and live action that follows a central character/s throughout a series of linked stories, think Heavy Metal (the movie).
It's got Samurai, cowboys, robots, muscle cars, skateboarding, a dance sequence, and even a kitty cat.
If you do watch it, watch it all the way through the credits.

This is probably one of those things you'll either like or say WTF, not a lot of middle ground on this one.

I couldn't stand the whole Von Dutch culture in real life back in high school, no way I'm gonna watch a show about it now lol.

On the WOT topic. I read the books between around 2005 -> last one came out, and have only read them one time.

To me, there is a huge difference between making slight modifications to the original story when creating a movie/TV show screen play, and dramatically changing significant aspects of the primary characters, as several have described here. Based on what I have read here, I won't bother re-activating my Amazon Prime account in order to watch this series. Those major deviations would cause me to get seriously pissed........

    I like the Beatles. :D

Saw the first episode and will see the remaining episodes. Hard to explain but overall a fascinating way to spend a couple of hours. Crazy level of access.

Amazing dynamic unfolding before our eyes and ears.

    Watched some more last night.

    Yes. Amazing really.

I never even knew this existed. I assume Beatles did not want it released earlier(?)

The best parts for me - are the magic riffs, the hook in each song they show - just being worked and laid out - sometimes no lyrics, different than recorded lyrics......but well done.

Harrison had profound influence and you see him and Paul - John, I dunno even Ringo seems more influential at this point.

Loved Last Kingdom. Vikings was great initially then just got weird toward the end. Not Viking related, but Barbarians is really good if you enjoy Roman stuff.
