If I am reading that right, they are not raising prices to 1.25, but rather raising their price cap to 1.25. SO things that normally would of been slightly over a $1 they couldnt sell because it was over their $1 cap. Now the cap is a quarter higher they can add those products.

 

right, but how many of those products were being pulled because didnt fit into the $1 category anymore?

I got kinda a dumb question.
Yesterday I got 17 of VET @ 9.52.
Today I look and it says I have 17 of VET @ 9.73. What gives?

It's an international stock (Canada) the difference is 17x0.21 $3.57...was there some sort of $0.21 per share fee or a transaction fee that got added?
Or was it a wash sale adjustment? Did you recently sell $VET for profit within 30 days?

 

I sold 4 for a loss on 10/28.
No transaction fee.
Not sure about a wash sale.

After reading about "wash sale", it actually looks like that might be it. Except its if you sell at a loss, not a profit. Something, something tax reasons of buying the identical stock that you sold at a loss within 30 days. Weird stuff.
Anyway, the example they showed looks pretty much what happened to me.

OMG...
I've got a friend who was holding 5 $ZM $250 PUTS for Friday...He paid $500 for them last week and closed them yesterday for 200%+ profits...I was like "Well yeah...but do you really think they'll go UP after earnigns??"

He's very regretful today...They're UP $3400 EACH today...EEShhh

This is what TD ameritrade charges...Once I was buying something I didn't realize was OTC and I bought like 100 shares for $40 and then OH SHIT...$7 fee...Steep ratio...

 

I'm down 5 figures. But I was up 5 figures yesterday. So like you said. Meh
