I'm new to this site so hi yall. I have some questions about my truck, i have a '08 tacoma double cab trd offrd midnight blue 2wd. I am trying to sell my jet ski because i am wanting to put a couple thousand on my loan and a couple into my truck. I am thinking about a 4-5 inch lift with 20" charcoal grey rockstar rims with 33" all-terrains and a Charcoal grey bullbar and to tie in the chrome on the back bumper some kc lights. has anyone done any thing similar and if so around how much would it take to do this right. or does anyone have any suggestions

    Welcome to Tacoma World!

How much are you looking to spend?

Also, most people either go with a 3" lift or a 6" lift. Not many 4" lifts for our truck that I know of aside from Spindle lifts.

3" ToyTec coilover lift on Bilstein 5100s, Total Chaos UCAs, ToyTec diff drop, Scangauge II, 4D MagLite mounted on the drivers seat, Painted engine cover, Painted calipers (red), Painted skid plate (red) Valentine 1 radar detector hard wired, Damplifier Pro on the floor, back wall and doors, Luxury Liner Pro on the floor and doors, Kenwood DNX8120, 2 Pioneer TS-SW1041D 10" shallow mount subs, 2 Pioneer PRS-D4200F 1200W amps, Mr Marv sub enclosure, Hybrid Audio Clarus 6.5" components in the front doors, Alpine 5.25" coaxials in the rear doors, A.R.E. If you want to go above 3", just go ahead and jump in to the 6" kit. Fabtech makes one. I love the 6" lifts, I just wasn't willing to go that high. There are some good looking 6"-ers around here... :)

camburg makes a 4" lift spindle for $995. they say you need to extend your brake lines which they so conveniently have for $90. camburg makes a good product from what i hear. i just wish that i could find some 3" spindles instead of 4".

well i believe that with the camburg's you do not need to change out the shocks. which that in of itself will save you alot of money. but i would talk to them first and make sure that you do not need to swap out the shocks. then just use aal's out back and longer shocks and you should be ok. im sure you already know..but you dont need a 4" lift to run that size wheel and tire. with a 3inch lift you should be able to clear 265/60/20 which is roughly a 33x10.5r20
