Entune no more?

same here, will be watching this thread for updates.

 

The Toyota plus Alexa app is stuck on a screen saying to connect my phone to the truck via Bluetooth which has long been done when I first got the truck. I tried pairing and unpairing the phone to the truck which did nothing. I deleted and reinstalled the app and and app is still stuck on the screen saying to connect you phone to the truck.

 

It is frustrating that Android auto requires a tether cable, but Alexa wants a Bluetooth connection.

 

Thanks much!! Super helpful. My local area is starting to get car thefts and just folks looking to steal what's inside the car if left unlocked... ridiculous... I've gone downstairs twice in past month to lock the doors before going to bed and wish i could just use my phone. Going to have to spend some research time on this.

 

Yeah man, I live in New Orleans... I left the door on my old tacoma unlocked for 10 minutes. By the time I went back outside they had already gone through the center console and glove box. I really like the app reminding me when the doors are unlocked.

 

You can lock the vehicle through the Toyota app.

 

Apple CarPlay in my girls Kia also requires a cable.

Has anyone been successful getting iHeart, LIVE X LIVE, Yelp and ALEXA working with the new Toyota app on Entune 2.0?

 

I can't even get my paired phone to play for the last 2 days

 

mine works fine. updated the app and logged in with no issues. also logged into the toyota+alexa app.

 

I think the issue is limited to trunks with an Entune 2.0 system.

 

I’m having similar issues with my ‘17 Limited. Also downloaded the Scout GPS App on the iPhone but it won’t connect to the vehicle even though the phone is connected via Bluetooth. Can’t reconnect to the old Entune App now. Hope Toyota gets this remedied soon. Poor form on their part.

 

I have a 2017 trd pro with the same issue, have an appointment w/toyota on Wednesday to see if they can fix it, doubt it tho, its going to take an app update to fix this

It's been over a week since I spoke to Toyota corporate. Still not working for me.

 

This is getting ridiculous. I plan on getting a new HU w/ apple CarPlay anyway but it would be nice to have this crap work in the meantime.

 

I have a 2018 with JBL and Android Entune v1.29.900.11 and most current Toyota app and latest over-air update for the HU. No issues with Live X Live - so far

 

My 17 doesn't have JBL. I've uninstalled the app several times and logged back in- still nothing. My phone is connecting via BT but the app won't do anything.

 

On a semi-related note. What's y'all's nav sd card #? Mine is 862710E185. I looked on Toyota parts website and the only sd card available is 862710E073. Weird thing is, when I click on the picture of it, it shows xx0E185. When I search part number xxOE185, it say it's no longer available and replaced by 862710E071. Any ideas?
