If you're over 30k miles, they will. I almost had to pay for my windshield TSB, but the service manager told me outright that the service was no charge, so I made them stand by their word.

Some dealerships wont make you pay, but its only a kind gesture if you're over 30k. TSB's state right on them 30k miles.

Are you over 36,000 miles or past 3 years? If so then yes you will not be covered under a TSB

    Barely over.. psh 38k :p

If it's really that strict, I'll just AAL then. I've had it for over a week didn't want install because of me trying to get the TSB. No harm done, I just thought it was dumb to charge me.

    Thanks

Not to rain on your thread.

But I bought my truck used. With just below 40k on it. 2007.

The TSB was "done" by another dealership from previous owner at 22k. BUT, the leaf pack was not replaced with the 4pack. Still has the 3pack, but has the new yellow shocks.

You think they will still replace it under "warranty" with my warranty I get from buying used, truck is still certified. Since it technically wasn't done right in the first place.

I think your getting mixed up with a "recall" two totally different things...and like others said paying for TSB is normal out of warranty..

Yes, how much? I went to the parts dept at my stealership and they wanted $700 per side, just for the parts. Ripppppppp off.

I bought a full 3 leaf progressive AAL from wheelers for $175 shipped.

I could be mistaken on this, but I think the 4 leaf TSB packs are Canada only. US TSB packs are 3 leaf (not counting the overload leaf).

The Canadian stock pack is 3 leafs plus an overload . The US TSB leaf pack is the same.

It's dumb because the dealer is expecting him to pay to have his truck capable of doing something that it was advertised/sold as being able to do.

No , the 2007 and later Canadian trucks come stock with 3 leafs and an overload . There is no TSB for these trucks to add another leaf .

The stock US trucks come with 2 leafs and an overload , the TSB for these trucks replaces the US stock pack with the one that comes stock in Canada.

He never said it wasn't capable-it's not a recall, not every truck is affected.3yrs or 36k miles is pretty self explanatory.
