You forget some of us a little older might no longer be working or in my case the body no longer works

One might say forced retirement !! I kept hearing from coworkers if you were a horse you would be Dog Food already.

 

When I was young I had a chance at a almost free week in Hawaii transportation and lodging were free I only had to pay for food etc.

The first Week in January let me tell you Never again going back to the Minus 30 F was far worse I should have gone to Aspen Skiing it would have been more fun.

 

Just got one of them spam phone calls, I pressed 1 to talk to someone. Our power will be cut in 2 hours if we don't pay $145, I said what address? He put me on hold, came back with my name and address I said that is great but our power bill is in my wife's name. He said ok I will process order and it will be turned off in 2 hours. I said that is great cause our power payment is auto drafted and it just came out the 8th


Our power bill at home is $74


I got a call yesterday from the police, they were looking for me, I pressed 1 and the guy answered I said "Greensboro police dept" he said talk to yourself then a-hole and hung up on me

 

Paid with an Amazon gift card, I'm sure.

 

They just called back so I played along again, I ask how do I pay for it? He said debit or credit, would you like to go ahead and process payment? I said but I don't owe you anything, he hung up

 

Might be time to call the power company.

1) Just to make sure something didn't happen with the auto pay

2) To let them know someone is running a scam

 

3) And somehow they got his name and address.

 

I can get those on a city website here. Cell phone numbers are more difficult.

I'm pretty sure they got my number from something I ordered and put my cell phone instead of work #, I ain't worried about it, I get 5+ calls a week that all start out the same and wind up with "press 1 to talk to"

 

I truly don't know how you look at something like a plow and just start making it smaller on the fly.

 

It truly is a gift, we all have them, just not all the same
