Just don't make a spreadsheet like I did. It gets depressing now every time I feel obligated to add another line or 2 to it.

Just enough to look kinda cool.
Don’t worry after a while you’ll end up with a box of parts asking yourself when you’ll actually put them on the truck. At that point you know your in too deep. Until then just keep adding to the list.

They are being honest, it's all dependent upon weight and how worn out they are. However, the fact they only say "Boosts" your OEM pack is a bit silly. I believe there's an Ironman thread over in the suspension section

Yeah I chatted with them and they couldn't give me an answer. I understand everyone is a different situation but they should base it off a new stock truck. The only thing he did say is it probably on par with our competitors  I checked the suspension thread and its mostly about other ironman parts.

I saw one guy say he got 2.5" with whatever weight he was carrying. So I'd guess it's a 2.5-3" leaf that will settle to 2-2.5"

I think I'm the exact opposite, I'm always waiting for a box of parts to come in, and will stay up all night to get whatever on before work the next day

For example, ordered some air bumps yesterday, and will probably fab up mounts and get them on tomorrow night if they come in on time and if I can manage to run to the metal store before they close :burnrubber:

I was like that then but now I’ve gotta rebuild my LCA and weld on some alignment tabs because I flattened one. I’m just being lazy I have all the parts and I even have a work truck I drive 7 days a week.

Q: on the Leer topper with rack rails converting to Yakima — sounds like I just need Landing Pad 1 (?) to put towers and bars on? I am already deep in Yakima stuff so want to stick with their system (one key).

what widths are people using? I know the Leer toppers have a low rated capacity, but looking at a roof tent system. Which one? What bar widths are the minimum widths? Also, winter camping? Awnings? Thoughts?

    thanks!

I've had LCAs, gussets, etc for months, but in the meantime have installed a rear bumper, fabricated a table, installed a headunit. All about what's fun to do vs what's not

They will do the trick for what I need. With them being powder coated, no shipping and no tax I figured $599 was good. The only thing im not really happy about and I knew this going in is they dont really offer any protection for the transfer case. In the future if I need something for the TC I may just have something made for that spot.

I think if you were to cut off that part that hangs down for the exhaust you could use an RCI transfer case skid plate on there.

That’s kind of what I was thinking.

2022 Silver Tacoma TRD Off Road
From Okanogan, WA and still waiting for my 2022 TRD Off Road 6 ft Bed to get here. Thought I would get it today but was just bumped up to Dec. 2nd to 4th but getting my new Winter Pirelli Tires today, Rims getting here soon, Bed Liner today along with Mud Flaps. Least now I will have a Vehicle I can go under to see what I want to deal with. The Challenger GT even with 8" Ramps is a squeeze! Miss my 4x4 Pick Up, want the Challenger for those special rides in nice weather. May run out of that soon if the Transport Truck does not get here soon! I live at the 2800 ft level but all the snow just went away so I have more time. I will have around $40K plus into this truck and have not found a Camper Shell yet! I will make my own skid plates out of 1/2" ABS light and easy to work with bending it with heat. Did a bunch on my JD Tractor for branches and such tearing things like filters, wires and sensors ect which there are lots now!! First Toyota for me hoping there as good as people say they are! It will be my wife's but she said I could drive it? I let her drive my challenger once! We want something that can get dirty again and just drive on our dirt road with out a worry. SOON I will have mine I mean Hers! Got rid of this(1997 M1078 AO 2 1/2 Ton)had no problem off road and sitting under it in trade for the 2021 Challenger GT. Ready for a smaller Rig now!DSCF6604.jpg Took this sitting on our 120 acres enjoying the view. So the TRD will be right at home!!
