OK, so I am redoing my connections in the roof, and I went with a molex connector. I got the ABS and pre-collision warnings, meaning I messed something up. Those molex connectors are bitches.

How can I check for which source wire is which? I have the illumination circuit broken out, and that's fine. I just need to know how to identify the other two wires.

Big thanks to @lapoltba for letting me know which wires went where. Got it all hooked up just how I want it now.

Speaking of @lapoltba, it is nothing short of glorious reaching up and tapping this button each time I pull the boat out of the lake, then back it up my steep driveway. The 6MT gearing w/ the 2LM is so low that I don’t even have to press the gas pedal. I can relax and take my time.

This one mod has changed my decision process on whether to go through the trouble of heading to the lake or not. I have gone 3x more often simply because there is no stress in making the decision.

And I also received the mini tutorial placard in the mail. I forget who it is from but thank you.

I just realized that I never updated the first post when these came back in stock.

I have plenty in stock and ready to go. Still working on getting more visor cards printed from another vendor.

My OCD kicks in when I look at the different light color, even after swapping LEDs between the two buttons I bought, so I checked and turns out the cheapest dash button i could butcher to pull the LED is the ECM power button at only $8 dollars. I added it to an order I was placing for oil filters and lug nuts to save the shipping cost. This will be tricky, but I need to find some time to see if I can remove this LED and solder “legs” to it to use on my current button without destroying the LED.

Have you not tried the AOB light blue switches? Very, very close to OEM.

I'm assuming the OEM switches use an SMD LED. You're going to have a pretty hard time making that work with the aftermarket switches. You would be further ahead just buyhing a switch from AOB. If you don't like the symbol, you can swap internals with the CH4x4 switch. They aren't 100% identical, but it does work. I did it with mine. Worst case you can swap LEDs.

That’s exactly what I did. Bought two switches and just swapped the LEDs to get the logo and color I wanted, but I find it to be pretty far off still. Maybe I just have too much time in my hands or my OCD is worse than I thought.

Did you buy the "new blue" switch from AOB or the regular blue?

I did this too and the “New Blue” still isn’t exactly a match.

@mabupa if you are successful please post some pictures I might try to do the same.

Mission somewhat accomplished. I ended up cutting all material I could off the little board and soldered it at an angle so it would fit. Also, had to put a jumper to bypass the resistor on the switch, so my little contraption would get full 12v. I disabled the second bulb that comes on when switch is on, since I don’t care about that future and even if I had a second ECM power button to butcher, it wouldn’t fit using my method, but t I can sleep better at night now.

Freaking love the overkill on that one!

now if we could just get ch4x4 to source exact color LED’s we could do a button group buy.

That would be awesome, but not sure how much effort they would be willing to put into finding the right color.

Hey Brian, got my harness today, thanks!

Just wondering if you plan on sending out the visor cards automatically to those who didn’t get one once you get another batch printed?
