What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Honestly, I might take you up on that. But if somebody else wants it let them have it. I just want the option to air back up if the last resort to get unstuck is to air down

 

If you're ever stuck, airing down is probably too late. However. I haven't posted it cause I don't care. But it's here so no worries

seems like a basic portable would be easier option for this. $75

$108 viair 88p portable compressor kit (12V, 120 psi, forup to 33" tires)

viair 88p comes ready to go in a bag requiring no install. Mine Can air up my 33s in about 10 minutes.

 

We bled the brakes, all the way through, including the Techstream software (Step 4 in the service manual)

When I would pull out of the shop, and 1st apply the brakes it would seem corrected. Drive for 1 minute and it came back. The brake peddle had a very large 'empty' spot that felt like it did nothing. After you pushed it through that spot it would start to brake OR you pump the brake and then apply them and it was fine, felt normal.

Very hard to explain when it is not the same each time you do it.

We bled through 2 bottles of brake fluid because I just kept telling my buddy it was the brakes

So at least I have all fresh brake fluid


For some reason I had it in my head that if the bearing was this bad, you would feel it in more than the brakes.

 

But the arb compressor will gain me Instagram followers

 

Not sure what his issue would have been, i have the luxx series full led headlights and the output is amazing. Before I tinted my windshield I could see to drive with just the drl on.

 

did some truck stuff today -- neighbors trees blew down several months ago so I got to load my wood rack

maybe it’s 15 minutes. Never been long enough I’ve noticed or had it bother me. Also going from 15-35psi.

I usually crack a beer and finishing airing up before the beer is done.

 

When I get home I'll take some photos. Basically 1 in each wheelwell 2 on each side and 2 on the front and 2 on the back.

Thats about how long it takes me 15mins or so going from 15 to 35. That one is very similar to my smittybuilt one.

Also if you have one like mine or the one you posted. Get one of these quick connects. It makes it so much easier then screwing it on every time.

That ones is much slower. only 1.06 CFM vs 5.65 on mine.

 

well it certainly passes the beer test mentioned above, at least with my tires. Im not in that much of a hurry to get air in my tires I guess.
