    This might have been posted somewhere but does anyone know how to fix the issue of the bed rails bending inward?

    Attached some pics for reference. Maybe I installed them wrong?

    I've tried everything I can and they always bend inwards. I'm thinking of bolting them into the bed rail

    My railing doesn't look like that. I don't think...

    Mine does that too. Wish I knew why.
    Not sure if it started after I switched to KBvoodoo side rail caps. They're thinner so I started shaving down the clamps a bit, but the aluminum keeps clogging my bench grinder stone wheel so I stopped.

    Maybe I have the length adjusted too long (extended forward near cab, and rearward by tailgate) stretching it tight enough to pull inward at the rails; I'll take a look...

    The rails are too close to the inside edge of your bed. Move them outwards further so the inside of the C clamp bracket is basically rubbing against your bed rail

    Was going to offer the exact same advice. Mine are centered on the bed top-rail and do NOT roll inward like that.

    I tried to take some pics but its dark out and the flash didn't want to cooperate with the focus but I think I have a deecent one below. I took a screenshot of yours and drew this up. Basically put the topper rails on the bed rail then put the brackets into the channel and on the softopper. Dont tighten it down yet. Slide the topper rail to the outside of the truck away from the c-clamps (direction of the red arrow) until the inside edge (red line) of the c-clamp touches the inside of your bed rail (blue line). Then tighten it down.

    This is the best pic I could get of mine. See how the c-clamp is directly touching the bed rail and I have a gap between the inside edge of the truck bed rail and the topper rail (green lines)? Mine is currently sitting on a bed rack rail but its edge is at the same edge as the truck bed rail.

    @AStinkyBumb did it right.
    Here is a past photo of mine. I can't get to the truck right now as I'm in CO and it's in GA. Hope it helps.
    Mine is centered on the rail with equal distance to edge for both inside and outside:

    Do you have a third clamp? That looks pretty far in at the back

    Yes I do. I bought two extras from Softopper. (Good catch!)

    Thanks for the help, guys. I'll take a look. I know I don't have the rail centered on the bedside caps so I'll try that. I got another pair of clamps too. Just have to take my molle panels off to install which is a pain in the rear. I can get the rails decently straight but soon as I put the topper on the pins they both begin to cave inwards.

    Mine arrived a few weeks ago. Took a risk on tan but think it turned out nicely!

    Having a hard time getting the rails to sit flush after the topper is mounted. I've tried readjusting, making sure the clamps are seated properly, tightening as far as I've felt comfortable. Was able to mitigate a little bit of inwards roll after some work, but not resolved completely. Anyone have any pointers? Or is this something everyone is experiencing? Apart from this, I'm so happy with this thing! +20 style points for the truck.

    Installed this earlier last week for some trips. Currently keeps the dogs and some gear dry.
