Ive been eyeballing those as well. I think i’ll probably pick them up before the Black Friday deal is up.
No i have no experience with them but i definitely saw those negative reviews. Probably why ive held up. If they were 2” adv I probably would have purchased by now. Im hoping to grab a 2” kit in the near future im thinking 4” might be too wide. Never heard anyone say anything negative about adv.
A lot of those reviews are kinda old so hoping they were just in a bad spot at the time

Deaver 62's are shorter up front and longer out back as far as center pin.

Reading some more of the comments after this, i think it would be going backwards swapping to 63's and doing different hangers just for a stock style rear bumper or tow hitch.

Its going to be a decent amount of work to swap springs and set up new shackles...

Personally id rather spend that time making a custom bumper or custom brackets to fit the stock bumper and a hitch but its your truck and your decision so do what makes sense to you.

Mine fit pretty good. didn't really spend a ton of time or effort on getting them perfect though since i knew i was gonna hammer them pretty good. just recently trimmed two inches out of them and actually really like the look of them. But since going to 35's and +3.5 i just don't like how much tire i have sticking out. Only downside to them i will say is they aren't the thickest layup. compared to the new adv i have to put on the mcneils are like half the weight.

As long as you’re not towing a lot, I’d say maybe box your frame and do something that slides into the frame from the rear and bolts through sleeves from the top to the bottom of the frame so you miss the shackles.

I was referring to welding in a rear x member hitch and you could make a bolt on bumper from that. I ended up welding a bumper that kind of looks like the stock one’s basic dimensions so it can be stepped on with a filler plate that bolts in but isn’t in the pictures.

If you're ever in LA area, let me know and you can poach some measurements from mine. Itll at least give you a good place to start.

My original thought when I rebuilt the rear frame was to possibly build in two "receivers" so I could slide in/bolt in different bumpers if I ever wanted to change it up.

The last 18-24" is all heavy rectangle tubing, twice as thick walled as stock frame. Shackles are above the frame now. Other option would be going to 9" shackles under too I guess.

Yeah you could even make something bolt on by putting some sleeves in that x member with a couple tabs to rest it on while bolting up.

Getting the truck prepped for eventually getting my DD 4 link installed. Fuel cell install is the first on the list.

2nd gen, leaf under guys. What valving are you running in your bypasses? I recall we talked about it a few months ago and a few people were running 15 comp/8 reb or something like that? Looking for a good baseline to start with. Pulled these beauties off the truck this past weekend and I have no clue what’s in them.

Quality seems good. Getting them to the east coast was a nightmare. Seems like only one guy works there and he tells you what you want to hear instead of the truth
