Rob, i had the same issue with my birth certificate. Tried to get it renewed but i was born in a small podunk town out of state that woildn`t do anything over the phone so i went the route of renewing my passport instead. I got my passport renewed and tried to renew my license online several times and the application went through each time but then nothing would happen. Turns out, i got my passport renewed, but because it was a new number, apparently MA can`t verify it. Go figure... so i explain all this to the RMV lady, she gave me a paper license for 60 days and tells me to go home and upload my original birth certificate... i told her about the number and she seems to think she can make it work between the new passport and the old birth certificate. So i have a paper license for now, fingers crossed the RMV lady can work some magic!

Any of you guys good with working on mountain bikes? I`m looking st upgrading forks, the fork swap doesn`t bother me, seems straight forward for the most part. Are brake caliper mounts pretty universal between forks or should i expect to have to buy some sort of adapter?

Shouldn't be an issue. If you want, you can come by my house and use my stand and tools.

I did the RealID right when it started. No birth cert and that was a pain in the skull as an adopted child, ended up getting a copy of my adoption finalization from the probate court and they took that since it showed my birth and current name.

My wife had to go through hoops because her divorce decree didn't have a raised seal..which was not used at that time. Grrr

You got it! The stock form says it’s set up for a 160 mm rotor (bike has a 180 so there’s a spacer). The forks I’m looking at, one says it’s set up for 160 also, one says it’s set up for 180 out of the box so I’m assuming I’d just lose the spacer in that case.

Yup you got it. It's a weird wishbone looking adaptor thing that you just don't use in that case.

Happy Thanksgiving y'all :D the drive into Rochester yesterday was god awful, we're never doing this again lol. I don't know you deal @mach1man001

WRT the RMV conversion, when I got my out of state conversion the woman I got had a look on her face that was like i was the bane of her existence for bringing this to her... this was after waiting a month and a half for my stupid appointment. Might sign up for AAA just to get in earlier for my vehicle reg

I don't know if AAA will do the initial reg, just renewals. But it's easy to do the renewal online and not have to deal with any of those special needs short bus employees.
