I'd go white but between the 2 I'd say lunar

I think black or lunar are both good choices. The main thing being is that neither have a metallic finish, so they are much easier to touch up.

Between the two I’d go black. I thought Lunar was the way I’d head but I think it’ll be the ‘pop’, as in popular color for the year. I’ve looked at it, photographed it, in all kinds of light, it’s different it seems almost every time you look at it, and to me it seems too much like avocado - I’m old - I lived through that in the 70’s in carpet, fridges, bathrooms, phones, cars, trucks, etc. not bashing Lunar Rock, it’s just trendy. It’s a cool color, and I dig it, but just not for my truck, thank you.
There’s nothing as non-trendy as black, and white, very classic colors, and timeless. Every color gets dirty, every color requires maintenance, waxing, upkeep. My .02

The black IS a metallic finish, unless something changed recently. Midnight Black Metallic. Had it been a solid black, might have gone with it. Still a great color though

Recently bought a new black car. It literally looks dirty the day after I wash it.

If you never wheel it black is nice. My black 2020 looks terrible once you get within 10ft of it in the sun. In the rain from 20ft away it is beautiful..... The middle ground is questionable depending on the circumstances.

Lunar rock for sure. In our current economy it sounds like they are really lowballing your trade. I have seen trucks that age with more miles for 6k plus. It's insane what people are paying for a Tacoma these days.

    Lunar rock!

It looks great and will most likely be around for a limited time. Black is there forever, on every car ever made. You can always get a black truck 5 or 10 years from now.

Hows the summers where you live? My black vehicle is freaking miserable in the Cal summers here. Because of that all the other reasons mentioned I now avoid black vehicles.

I live in RI, it doesn't get too hot up here, maybe 90's a couple days out of the year. It gets very cold though. I've never owned a black car, owned 4 silvers.

I've got a QS tacoma, the wife wants a Lunar Rock 4runner.

No way in hell would I be committed to what goes with black vehicle ownership.

As someone that details for fun, black is just so hard to keep looking nice. My wife has a lunar surface RAV4 and it’s easier to keep looking nice than my super white Off Road. Congratulations on the new truck! Enjoy it!

Lunar rock color grows on you, but i just can't get use to those black fender flares and black bumper...they remind me too much of those white sr's tacoma's that i saw here a couple years ago.

The black on 2018+ Tacoma’s is definitely a metallic.

The Pro also comes with black fender flares.
