What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

These came in like a night or two ago. Can’t wait to get these installed tomorrow.

 

Been a while since I posted an update and I've done too many to post individual ones so heres a list and a few photos of the truck since September
- CBI Adventure Front Bumper
- CBI T3 High Clearance Rear Bumper with Dual Swing Outs, Dual Jerry Can Holders, Dual Camp Tables
- Cascadia4x4 VSS 85 Watt Hood Solar Panel
- Baja Designs SAE Fog Lights
- Smittybilt X20 Comp 12K Winch
- A bunch of electrical stuff
- Took the truck to Big Bend National Park again
- Also did Black Gap (can add that to my Jeep Badge of Honor List including Snake, Ophir Pass, Engineer Pass, and Imogene Pass)
- Took the truck to Matagorda Beach, TX
- A bunch of pinstriping and skid plate damage from jumping the truck (small jumps) at Big Bend

Should have explained it more. There are tons of these out there, most with the fuel inside the box also. I don’t have a warm and fuzzy doing that so I’m mounting the fuel tank outside the box. It’s also for winter camping. The outside air coming in to the box and then unit will be cold, helping to keep temps in there down. This is the same unit that gets mounted in sprinter vans and such right under the passenger seat. Also the same unit semi’s use for cab heaters. I have a feeling it will be cold in there when it’s running, not warm at all. But I’m going to do some trial runs before I take it out and use it just to make sure everything works like it should.

We chased the Baja1000

 

Well finally got the half shell painted done and installed, still have the light brackets to put on and the dog kennels to put it but overall I am so happy with the way this turned out. Now I have locked storage area, a pull out drawer, so other stuff and my RTT will sit below the level of my roof rack and that was the goal. I know it has two different molle panels but I couldnt decide which design I liked better, im leaning towards the passenger side one

 

How does a RTT attach?

I have two t rails that bolt into the existing holes on top on the half shell, I will be putting it on this weekend for a trip and show how it attaches.
