Electric seems to be the way of the future -- that said, if you need to run the machine 10 more minutes simply dumping in a bit more gas and finishing the job sure beats waiting for a battery to charge. I like gas stuff too.

I can mow my front and back yard on 2 6Ah batteries and still have a little juice left. The weed eater and chainsaw came with a 4Ah each. The blower is like the pushmower, I'll have 90 days to try it and can return it anytime before then if I don't like it. Plus a 5 year warranty.

With all the batteries you have, I say try it!!!

What does it weigh? Just curious, I know most back pack blowers are heavy and the heaviest thing on that one will be the battery.

That's 10 more than I thought, that's right there with gas powered weight

I jumped in head first with the lawnmower and weedeater and have been very happy with the purchases. But the blower I keep reading the specs and I'm not sure if it's something I want to try out. The Ryobi puts out more cfm, but my Stihl has 40mph more velocity. I've got a shit ton of leaves, and I don't play around when it comes time to work on them. Maybe they'll have a Black Friday deal on the Ryobi and I'll get one. I can always return it.

Just picked up a new John Deere 1025r tlb with mid mount mower. Just as hard to find a tractor as it is buying a new vehicle, at least they don’t have a mark up price.

I have been running Thermocure radiator flush in my 3205 radiator for about the last 1/4 of the summer mowing season. It probably has 20 hrs on it. I wanted to finish it up today but it still needs a little more time. I went ahead and drained it for winter and refilled with antifreeze. I will add the rest of the flush next summer and run it. I bet it's clean by mid-summer 2022.

That’s a big difference for only 20 hours.

I'm curious what the pH of Thermocure is?

That stuff works. After draining and flushing until it was clear I added the Thermocure with RO water. As it worked the water turned black and stunk like burnt motor oil. Smelled like when there is old oil at the bottom of head bolt holes that's been cooking for decades.

    I'm sure it's acidic.
Along with the 5.5pH RO water, I bet it cleans good.

I found this on Amazon from Evapo-rust about Thermocure:

"This non-toxic, non-corrosive and acid-free solution is safe and easy-to-use. Does not contain any odor, fumes or solvents. Thermocure cleans rust from radiators, water pumps, water jackets, engine blocks, and heads"

Quoting this from back in March. What a wild ride. Abridged version of this summer. Baby was originally due 8/26/21. He decided he had enough and on 8/6 he was born via c-section after 30hrs of labor, his heart rate started to drop so Dr. said let's get him out. Wife developed post-partum preeclampsia, was rushed back to the ER 15hrs after being discharged from the hospital. Total of 9 days. Thanks to health insurance it didn't cost us a dime.

Most importantly, we're all happy and healthy, he'll be 4 months old the beginning of December. He's awesome, wish he'd cry a bit less haha. I forgot was sleep is, or what 5hrs straight of it feels like. It's a distant memory.

Back on topic with tractor talk, I did end up putting my MF35 Utility back together, fixed the steering, put new tires on the front, tuned the carb. Runs great. Had to flush the loader hydraulic oil because water got in, and I still need to repack the curl cylinder. It's bypassing internally. Gonna check the trans/rear for water and drain any out if present.

I use my work truck to plow now, no need to be using a snowblower on an open station tractor. Loaded it up on the trailer and brought to my father who can actually use it. I added scrap conveyor belt to the impeller wheel to blow the snow further, greased it up, delivered it a week or two ago. He's excited to try it. Pic looks like it was taken with a potato.

    @Steve Urquell @koditten

Hey, I have a question I thought one of you or one of your thread regulars can maybe answer. I have an Agri-Fab pull behind leaf vacuum. 5hp. Needed a new engine.

Last weekend I put a new hub assy on my Dad's GMC 2500 4WD, and he surprised me with a HF replacement engine as a thank you. Nice gesture, but the crankshaft is 3/4" vs the 1" needed to mate up to the cutting wheel on the Agri-Fab. HF has no 1" crank sizes. The motor mounting holes line up perfectly for the base plate and cutter position, so I am wanting to go ahead and use it.

Have any of you seen or made an adapter to mix and match crank size vs some implement? Just looking for ideas. If nothing reasonable available, I am going to take a piece of 1" round stock and make a sleeve over the 3/4" crank and attach that to the cutter. The key way will need to be figured out. I was thinking I might just drill a hole all the way through and put a small shear bolt for protection. Anyway, and ideas?

I found adapter bushings on ebay. I often need to go from 1" to 1 1/8".

I will take a quick look.
