Does anybody have a schematic of the location and part numbers of the axle seals. The bearing went out on the drivers side. I bought the bearing with seals. The seal the went inside the pressed on parts was just fine.. the problem I'm having is the seal that goes on the inside of the knuckle assy. The one they sent me doesn't seem to fit. It's been a while with it apart and my mind isn't remembering everything. I found a seal on the CV shaft. Is that the seat or is there one pressed into the back of the hub assy. or is there one on the cv shaft and one on the hub.. either way what would be the part number for those seals? I originally bought a used knuckle from salvage and it had a seal inside the back of the hub..but it didn't look like the one I had on my cv at all.

Let me know if you don’t get what you need from the schematics. I can get you the numbers you need. They are just on my computer and not on my phone right now.

43511 and 43512 are the seals that go into the back of the knuckle correct./? Why is there a LH and RH difference . my kt came with same for both sides. The seal that goes onto the CV shaft is the main question. It is a different seal. Is it really needed.Appears that the two seals go up against each other or near that. That CV shaft seal is the one I need a number for. I can't find it anywhere. both seals are in red on this picture. On just has a red line going to it.99 off internet.jpg

*Inner Seal #90316-69001 (this attaches on the backside of the knuckle)

This is your inner seal part number. The left and the right are the exact same and sometimes listed that way to let you know that only one comes with an order and not as a kit and that you need to two (one for each side). I don't have any facts to back that part up as to why they mark a left and right, but I have purchased quite a few others and gotten four when I ordered two and they came as a kit.

As for the CV, here is a reference of one jacked up below.

Here is pic of the part number and reference to replace it.

There is a metal dust shield on the inner side of the CV that mates up against the differential as a dust shield only. Some lose them when swapping and they don't get replaced, depending upon the environment (mountains vs desert) you may consider it differently.

Here is a picture of the inner dust shield as the CV enters the differential

That crumpled seal in the first pic is the one I'm talking about. Thank you for those numbers. This is a fit for my 99 Tacoma 4x4 correct. Mine got damaged when I thought it was the seal that goes into the Knuckle and I had the new one of that. Got damaged removing before I realized it was a different seal. I did see one picture of that part number and it shows it on the Knuckle. I'll show you that picture. It is what helped me with the confusion. Thank you for clearing it up. This one in the picture is your first number seal the 6901. or it may not be a picture of my assembly at all cause I see only 5 lug bolts no inner bearing seal or spacers. 90304-A0001.jpg

It fits your CV whether you are ADD or Manual hub 4x4.

I found a cross reference number that goes with that number at less than half the price. 99 Tacoma cross reference number for front CV outer dust seal near Knuckle.jpg

Is this seal really needed? i have a new cv joint for the pickup but it doesn't have the ridge on it that the old one had where the seal sits
