    A thing or two...
I bought my shock fill setup from a guy on IG that was recommended by some guys in the LT forum. I got a small Nitrogen tank from Airgas.

Argon is 2x the cost of Nitrogen, but I'd have to fill allot of shocks to pay for the cost of a Ni tank when I already keep Ar on hand. Ar is also a heavier gas, but I haven't yet found a chemist able to explain why that would have any practical effect on how the shocks work.

Airgas is The Way for this, remember to exchange your tank before the hydro-certification runs out. There's a date stamped on the top, and you have 5 or 10 years from that date that they will accept it for exchange.

It seems like the solution to all my problems always involves a welding set up of some kind

If a welder isn't the solution an angle grinder probably is.

Check out the Everlast machines if you are thinking about getting into it.

I welded these little fish plates on the bottom between the legs and main square tube because I'm only semi confident in my welding skills, so I thought this would help in the more failure prone areas. Might be low hanging fruit to get caught on stuff, but we'll see

That little bit will never be the make it or break it item of whether or not you make it through an obstacle. I think it was a wise idea if you’re not 100% on your welding skills yet.

That make sense. I'm pretty confident on fillet welds, but those angled butt welds on the bottom where it's kinda thin due to the angle cut I kinda worry about because I haven't done a lot of them before

I will say yes, I guess. The right rear passenger floorboard was wet a few weekends ago. Unsure if it was a normal occurrence as I happened to be over there the next morning after a good down pour and noticed a wet floor. did check to see if all windows were up, and they were. rear sliding was closed as well.

Edit: I've heard of the vents in the back wall leaking as well. no telling which is the cause.

I never had any leaks that I saw. I've got to get this done. Been lazy about pulling the soft top.

Rite rite. I just happened to notice it an made an appointment. Could have been a fluke, who knows. Just pulled the softopper a little while ago myself. They want the truck for the whole day. Asked them to to do the state inspection as well.

Rite. Hard top as in a topper or a hard style tonneau cover?
