Happy Thanksgiving guys!

 

Happy turkey day CT.

Got home last night after two long days on the border of Massachusetts and New York. Literally on the border, there was a stone pillar where we were working and it marked the state line.
Hopefully I never have to do that again. It might have been better if we had more help and it was warmer. It never got above 35 and the wind chill on the first day was a bit**.

They should've done this job months ago and had it better planned out. We had to assemble a shaft with bearings and grease them. That could've been done in the shop so when we got there all we had to do was to drop the shaft in.



I think I got 8 hours overtime in two days (including travel time) but I still don't want to do something like that again.

Found a better OBD bi-directional scanner. Codes keys & all. Good price on Amazon. Looked on Aliexpress since that's where most Amazon stuff originates, found same item for $102 less. $10 in coupons for $112 savings off Amazon & it ships from US warehouse. Perfect. Pull trigger.
Credit card co declined the transaction & texts me - that you? Yes - me. Okay, try again, we'll allow it.
Go to try again & the coupons are no longer available. Credit card parameters just cost me $10.
Call Fraud unit - can't get through.
So pissed, said F-it.
Would have been nice to interact with the hybrid system.

Not an odd $ amount, not an odd vendor, Black Friday, used that card with that vendor lots of times. may be time for a new credit card, their fraud parameters have screwed me couple of times now.

I Just ordered the rest of the DD suite of lights for my truck. Front/rear Amber turn signals, reverse lights, license plate, dome light, map lights, led flasher relay(backordered).
I already have DD indicator lights and SS3 yellow pods.
Crazy thing is that my wife gave me her credit card to buy the new stuff . WHOAAA!

I guess the Wet Okele seats with back and seat heaters hit a sweet spot with her this winter.

 

Signed my time sheet today. Worked 23 hours in two days. 7 hours overtime and 1 hour double time.

 

Ripped out the back splash, and started putting down the new hardwood flooring in the kitchen area.

Took long because we had to rip out pieces from the old floor and make new starting points because of the old walls that were up.

Hopefully tomorrow we'll finish the flooring, to then finish putting up the drywall.

The Mrs needs to hurry up and decide on countertops and back splash ASAP.
