They call it a rehearsal but it’s more of a song writing session that includes some of their most iconic songs. From the riffs you talk about to ‘filling in the words’ later.

I'll add that to the watch list for sure! Just started Yellowstone, so I'll be on that for a bit.

 

Only problem I had with Barbarians was that the actors are speaking German (i believe) with English dubbing which sort of gave it an old kung fu movie vibe. However, the roman characters speak latin with english subtitles which made it feel authentic.

 

Yellowstone is great. Although you kind of have to give it some leeway with how much vigilante/Wild West justice that family gets away with lol. But still it's a great show

 

Exactly, the first 2 seasons were good. Then shit went downhill.

 

As far as action shows/ movies go I enjoyed Banshee.

Still it has the potential to get boring. We watched as a group last night and most loved it, a few were tolerant. The younger ones were asking: "Who is that lady, why does she just sit there?" My wife (Japanese ancestry): "Yoko Ono, she's an artist"

 

Watched Episode 4 of the WOT just now.

I will say, I liked it. Warts and all. I just don't over analyze. Don't pick it apart. This one has lots of action and reminded me of stuff I forgot. Nyn-friggen-neave! Wow

 

I got as far as the hair braiding scene (about 5 mins in) in the first Winds of Time episode. Yep, nope, not going to watch a show for teenage girls.

Got caught up on The Expanse. The writing is starting to slip. Way too much time spent on Naomi-Marco-Filip story. Everything between the asteroid strikes and last episode of Season 5 was mostly fluff.

 

Not what the show is about.....but whatever.

The Fade scene in 4 is not for little girls. (she dead)

EDIT PS I also started out hating Thom. Now we know.

 

I really enjoyed The Last Kingdom, wish they would do more seasons.
I saw the first season and a half of Vikings, I liked it, but somehow got sidetracked and never got back around to it.

 

damn good show but the fight scenes are a little absurd

 

Just discovered Ray Donovan, that show is great, and really messed up.
