So I’ve got over 40k on my successful auto to 6speed swap. I’m at a point now where I want to clean up my wiring and get everything functional again. I found this schematic that pulls off signals from the park / neutral switch connector and I wonder if I can adapt the schematic to work on my 4.0

Only thing I can tell you is Pin # 2 & 4 are the only ones that have power.
(Of the connector for the A750 Trans)
And Pin 4 is only when cranking.
The rest use the PNS Switch to distribute power.
Your diagram can’t be used the way it’s shown.

Yes, I know the wires and colors are incorrect. This is from a T4R, but what I’m asking is if I can run the appropriate wires in this manner (with the correct wires) and have it work again.

    I suppose you could?
Run the appropriate wires to the switches that need power.

If you have the wiring diagrams you could make it work.

Pin 2 is Switched Power (to Reverse light switch?)

Pin 4 is Powder when cranking (I’d have to look at diagrams to se me if the clutch cancel switch is switched or cranking)

    I believe it’s cranking.

I believe it’s both, the switch looks to be a “mini relay” itself.
The IG1 No.2 is the control wire. And the STA is the feed.

Yellow circle looks like a relay or coil control switch. @Jimmyh

Exactly that is a relay. The coil when energized by the IG voltage Green wire on terminal # 3 to ground through the push button on the Cancel Switch is operating a set of normally open contacts pulling them closed completing the circuit between the Violet wire on terminal # 2 through the contacts to the Black Wire with a Yellow stripe on terminal # 4.
