FOG LIGHTS I have a 2010 Tacoma pre wired for fog lights. Checking the pop out blank next to driver's side door , there is nothing showing to plug the switch to. I'm new and not very good with the tech stuff so be easy on me☺️

You’re looking for a connector that looks like the one on the right.
If you don’t have it, then I don’t think your truck is prewired.

Thank you sir. The one on the right was kind of attached to the center slot but all three of mine are blanks. The wire colors seen to match though

I'll pull the coin tray out and see if that plug is hidden there.

    Half as in single cab?

Not sure if you are pre..my regular cab 2 wheel wasnt, but if you did see the plug that @TnShooter mentioned I think you are.

yes sir, half cab with the two small back seats. Plus, I need to order the proper switch for the fog lights. Is it a good idea to wire the fogs to come on when headlights are on? Just got the truck and I guess I have several questions. Thank you all for your help

I prefer to NOT have them one on with the headlights.
I like the ability to turn them on when I want.
If you are not prewired, you have options.

If you are prewired, the fogs will come on ONLY when the low beams are on.
And ONLY if you turn them on. They will NOT come on with the high beams.

This. Search for the fog light anytime mod, it's simple. I wasn't prewired so I started from scratch anyways..mine can turn on with the running lights.

So, if wire harness is there to plug fog lights into, that doesn't mean the truck is pre wired? I agree with your thoughts on the fogs coming on when you want them. But, I need to locate that plug and order the correct switch. Also, my check engine light came on. I took it to Auto Zone and their tester found nothing?

Yes that plug is what you need, you're styling once you get the switch and lights.

Switch I can order. The plug may be hidden or, it's the one that was in the second position but, wasn't connected. Thank you so much and I'll check that mod as well.

Must be an access cab based on OP's description.

I had a thought flash through my mind as half of a regular cab. Just the driver's seat is in the cab.

Told you guys I'm not to good at this stuff. I'm good for a few laughs . Fingers crossed I get the fogs working without blowing them to the moon.

My check engine light and stability lights are on. Had the codes checked and it showed nothing? I use to be able to turn stability on and off. Now, stays on. Any ideas? ECU maybe? Many thanks.

Have the codes erased..the stability on is b/c of the check engine light
