I have a few vids of my build process for the plasma table. Nothing professional. Just some random milestones tha I thought would be cool to document. There are other vids of my projects I play around with.

Does anyone know where to source a replacement wire feed tube (not sure the correct term) for a titanium flux welder? I want to keep it as a backup, but I melted a hole through the wire feeding hose. Looks like a bike brake line.

    You want a liner.

Any welding shop has them. They should be able match up a new one with you old one. They usually will have to be cut to the same length as your original.

A picture would help ?? Are you talking about the whole gun or the insert inside the liner.

Does your operators manual say anything about consumables?

You should be able to get a new Gun From Harbor Freight

From what I read he burned a hole in the gun.

That looks like it’ll work. Wasn’t sure how interchangeable or proprietary they were. Thanks!

I want to start learning how to TIG since I have almost no experience at all with it.

Probably won’t be the process I use most at any point in time so I don’t want to break the bank on a machine.

I am looking at the Weldpro TIG 200 and it has amazing reviews, readily available replacement parts and consumables, along with what I’ve read to be fantastic customer service.

Anybody have any experience with this machine or have any thoughts?

I love my Hobart 140. More trucks have probably been built in people's garages with that welder than any other!

No experience with that machine but my multiprocess is a weldpro and it's worked fine for me on both 110 and 220.

I have the primeweld 225. Been pretty happy with it. Specs and price look.to be close to the one you looking at.

The fabrication series yputube channel was extremely useful as I continue to learn TIG welding.

Grinding several tungsten helps save time. And you will soon be an expert in grinding them , as you dunk or hit it with the filler rod.

Metal.prep is critical along with good fit up. I think tig has help push me to more precise in my forums for sure..

Seems to be getting 5 stars on Amazon with almost 600 ratings. Definitely seems to have all the features you'd want for a solid hobby machine.

That looks real comparable to the Primeweld model I bought: same basic features and accessories, same torch, regulator, etc. I've been real happy with mine.
Main thing that swayed me to Primeweld was the 3 yr, postage paid warranty, and 24/7 US based customer service line. Every other one with HF start, CK WWide torch, ... in my price range only had 1yr warranty. Mine is not "menu driven" so the learning curve is longer. The Weldpro looks to be more to the panel driven "presets" side.

Not recommending Primeweld over what you are looking at, just giving you another model to compare too.

check out the newest ahp. pretty sure it’s the same price. i had the version before it had the screen and it was solid for the price. the only place i’ve seen issues will all the cheaper machines is trying weld aluminum on their highest amp ranges. but that can kinda be expected at the price. if the plan is to focus on aluminum i’d consider going with something a little higher quality like an everlast, but if it’s just to mess around mostly mostly with steel and maybe some 1/8” or thinner aluminum the prime weld or the ahp will be great for getting started

The only Downside I see is the shipping back and forth for warranty claims !

The warranty is for the original buyer you buy used after a month your stuck.

Myself I would get the Harbor freight Lincoln knockoff of the Tig 200 The Vulcan 200 or the updated 205

My 17 year old son(Mason) got a job building some handrails for a small store by the lake. He doesn't have any experience fabricating but loves to weld. I told him that I would help him. I cut and fit and he welded. The owner of the store had some 2 inch pipe that he wanted the handrails made from. Mason has only been welding for about 2 months! 1/8 7018 with a Miller Bobcat 225. I will try and take some pictures after we install them tomorrow.

    Good to hear man. Thanks.

Definitely been looking at the one both of you have as well. Ridiculously good reviews on the primeweld as well.

Will definitely check out that series on YouTube and also take all tips into consideration. I appreciate it!

Thanks man, I’ll definitely have to check out the AHP!

I was looking at first at the Vulcan 205 and I started looking at the others and just was really impressed with the reviews but the Vulcan 205 also has pretty damn good reviews too. I will be keeping all of these options in mind for sure. Just gotta do some more research and figure out what the ultimate goal is for me and TIG and what I want to be doing with it haha.
