Glad I found this SR thread. I’ve had my 2021 for one month, loving it. New tires/wheels, removed air dam. Lost about 1-2 MPG. Bed mat, all weather floor mats so far. C2D9F987-3E88-4E91-87D1-D349E4D0BF9B.jpg 7C3BB772-ADAA-4AE0-A3A9-0E239B615869.jpg

I went with the one in my signature block N2 designs and he had a thread on them here somewhere... once I set it up correctly it's been flawless and he gets a A+ for customer service too

Hey everyone, we’ve got a 2020 sr 4x4 I’ve been slowly adding stuff to. So far: trd offroad wheels, OEM roof rack and topper. Next up: bilstein 5100’s and add-a-leafs. We love our truck and tow a little camper for our family of 4. When the tires wear down I’m going with some 265/75/16 all terrains and calling it good.

Here's my SR ... 2019 4x2, 2.7l automatic. Told the dealer if I dont drive a 4x4 v6, I won't know what I'm missing. Have not one regret for that decision. Haven't done much to it. Only upgraded to 2021 SR5 graphite take-off wheels, got rid of the "chinstrap" valance on the front, and wired up a trailer harness. Next mod: "factory" intermittent wipers and fog lights (per earlier posts in the thread).

Hi All, regarding fog light installation on an SR... Is there an option besides having a stalk switch and a push button switch? Turning on the low-beams also turns on the fog-lights as well, is that possible? Will it work if you just plug in the fog-lights with the harness on the blank plug behind the grill?

    Thanks!

@bencordonez On back in this thread are detailed instructions on the push button capability. I’ve thought of that myself, like going with the gen2 button in the dash, but I think it still requires getting to the stalk wiring somehow to use the factory relay and wiring harness.

You can always go all aftermarket and wire in your own relays. There are videos on YouTube for that.

One added function I would if you want the aftermarket route to work like oem is replace the aftermarket button with a gen2 button (the ones I’m thinking of don’t match the back light color of the rest of the dash lights). Then splice connect the switch power to the low beams so the fog lights only come on with the low beams.

I went ahead and did the stalk swap. I wouldn’t do it any other way personally. Everything plug and play, looks and operates 100% stock, install done in under an hour for everything including the lights and bezels.

CBI baja front bumper and skid plates arrived last week and we got them installed a few days ago. Super pleased with the product. Both bumper and skid plate are powder coated aluminum. Extremely lightweight - trying not to bog down the ol' 4 banger. Despite reading horror stories on product delivery...CBI was actually pretty close on their original lead time estimate of 5 months. The installation was fun and very satisfying...their youtube videos are very helpful. Pre and post photos below!

How many SR owners would be interested in a plug-and-play harness for adding illuminated vanity visors? Made one for myself but I'm wondering if there might be a market here!

Those look awesome. Are they beige? From the photo color that's what it looks like.

I want to say that it's cause of how the photo turned out but i sourced OEM visors from an SR5 and reupholstered them since they weren't in the best shape so that could be it. The fabric is not a 100% match but in person they blend in a lot better!
