My friend bought a 2022 OR a few days ago.

Dropped it off at the dealership for a 2" rear and a 3" front suspension lift. They gave him a 2022 Supra to drive for the 2 days they had his truck.

Charged him $1,200 for the lift and $1,000 for the 33" tires.

He said they even did the alignment.

I thought all the dealerships would do was a spacer lift, or something like that.

He just sent me this pic. Looks bad ass.

Judging from the lift and the prices, that's what he got.

Hell, if I'd know they would have lifted my truck like that when I bought it for $1,200 and it have a factory warranty, I'd probably had them do mine.

I thought a "real" lift would be around $3K to do it right.

Does he have pics of the front suspension? I bet there’s a 1.5 inch puck on the front

He said they replaced the UCA's. I don't know shit about lifts. Just passing on what he said. I did ask him if it was a spacer lift or a true suspension lift and he said suspension.

Wow replaced UCAs and new suspension lift? Sounds fishy. I guess it could be a 5100 but the only factory lift under warranty is the Trd lift kit which is a lot more expensive than what he told you

I'll ask him tomorrow, but that's what it would have to be. I read a lot more on here than I post, and I thought it would be around $3K to do a "proper" lift.

Exactly somewhere in the 2k range just for shocks and install for Trd lift and extra bit for the grille etc

Mine was a little over $2000 and that was Fox Brand done at a 4WheelParts

Edit: many local shops actually told me one of two things.

    A. No lift available at all for any Tacoma

    B. They just tried to sell me a spacer lift because of cost. Quick in and out jobs.

They didn't understand even after I told them that I want to improve my truck and not just get it ready for the mall

Probably is a spacer lift. I doubt aftermarket shocks, UCAs, leafs/spacers, and installation would be at least $1100... especially from a Toyota dealership.

His truck had the TRD Off Road stickers on the side of the bed when he got it. Wouldn't it already had the TRD lift?
