Hey CO people I’m new here so I understand if there’s some form of rite of passage I have to go through before asking for help…BUT I’m looking for either a shop or semi-experienced individual somewhere on the west slope (I’m in Carbondale) to help fix a rear shock relocation issue on my first gen sometime this winter. I’m a loser and can’t do this level of project myself so hoping to find a connection to a place or person so a) I can trust the work and b) I don’t walk in blind and get charged out the ass

I posted a write up on the situation here https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ar-shock-relocate.540417/page-5#post-26538571

    Thanks!

After 3 years I really like it here. Although I suffered with crappy jobs and was treated like garbage for the previous 5.

Hey all, need recommendations on the following:

Looking to get my laminate floors finished off. Some transition pieces and closets.

Also looking to get an electrical outlet installed outside my house.

Hey fellow coloradans. I recently bought an 01, and the paint is pretty crap. Peeling and fading clear coat. Rust in some spots. Scratches. All that 20 year old paint damage that the owner didn’t care about.

With that being said, I’ve been thinking about getting it repainted and have come here to see if anyone knows of a good shop in the area that will do a decent - good job on for a good price. I’m not looking for car show, pristine quality. But also don’t want maaco crap. As i DONT want to spend a fortune.

Now that maaco has been brought up… lol. I did get a quote from them (just to test the waters and see what a crap shop would quote me). They wanted to strip the entire truck to metal, since there’s a good amount of scratches and rust. I was quoted like $5800 for the job. I did also choose their highest quality job. But that seems insane for maaco. Not going to use them regardless.

So… does anyone know of any good paint shops / contractor / individual in the area? I’m around Denver but will travel a reasonable distance.

    @5280 recommended Chatfield Autobody
to me , when I asked.
I haven’t used them or even talked to them.
From the pictures looks like they did a good job.
    Maybe she’ll chime in

    Stuff. Also things.
Just watched Erie HS come back and win against Montrose in the HS football semifinals!

Erie was down two scores halfway through the fourth quarter and came back to score, execute an absolutely flawless onside kick, score again, and GO FOR TWO to go ahead by one with a minute and a half left.

Montrose had run the ball down Erie’s throat all game, but they hit a huge pass off of play action to a wide open running back. It was super cool to watch Erie shake it off and come right back to force a fumble and recover it to run the clock out and pull out the win!

Best live high school game ever, by far!
