Here in south GA we have either sex the whole season. I generally refrain from doe harvest till either I'm tagged out for bucks or the rut is over. I did take a doe during early season but that was just cause we were in a venison crisis.

Can't believe your gonna miss the game though...

    Told ya!

Growing up, Pa's hunting regs were small enough (maybe 3" square) to fit in a typical license holder - now they are magazine size - partly due to all the sale ads that are now included - still couldn't fit just the true regs in a license holder if you removed all the ads.

Ohio's deer specific regs are 8 pages (~4"x6" booklet) not counting license info and other more general info.

Thinking about buying this rifle for some Nebraska hunting trips. Probably going with the .270

Well the same stand my wife shot her bobcat in seems to have a predator problem... A slightly smaller problem now, but still.
Also high shoulder quartering towards at 95 yards is a "dead before they hit the ground" kinda shot for anyone wondering. Exit hole was a bit farther back than I want on a deer tho.

0 doe days on public land up here - including bow and muzzleloader. Private land you can take a doe during bow and muzzleloader, and then there are like 3 doe days the rest of the season. I usually try to take at least 1 before rifle season. Hate taking a doe around/after the rut, but I might try to put one down tomorrow. Had a couple small bucks come out this am, but I’ve got a couple I’m waiting on.

Them does won't have any bigger antlers next year... My BIL shot his first yesterday... He told me he shot "that weird 5 pt" meaning this guy IMG_20211122_154045.jpg this may be the largest amount of ground shrinkage I have ever seen lol.
