I’ve said this before but whenever you are working on bed bolts, whether it’s for the rail or floor of the bed, ALWAYS break the bolts by hand first and then use your impact gun. Same goes for tightening. Impact gun then hand tighten to avoid stripping. I know it’s a moot point in this case but I thought it’s worth mentioning again for those who have future projects to keep in mind. Let us know how you end up getting that bolt off. It’ll be good to know in the future in case I don’t take my own advice because I’m in a rush (has happened before). You’re not alone lol

Napa TTX ball joints, greased and anti seized LCA bolts and sleeves. Replaced JBA arm bushings with new ones and replaced the upper ball joints.

Yeah I'm aware of their intended use.
How often do you think people find themselves driving in fog heavy enough that these are needed?

We see people that drive with these types of auxiliary fog/driving lights on at all times cuz they look cool, and I agree they do! But all they're doing is blinding the poor bastard (me) going the other way.

I'm not knocking the lights just how some people use them.
The DD SS3's are super nice & I'm seriously considering a set for my truck! Sure would be nice to be the blinder instead of the blindee for a change.

I went with 17" bronze wheels. I know the bronze isn't everyone's cup of tea but I wanted a little contrast since my truck is MGM and everything else is blacked out.

Dang...picking them up is the way to go. My wheels might be to me by Christmas. :santa:

Amazon has it for $99 under their Cyber Monday deals. A few models of this brand are on sale. I'm going to get the 2000A one.

Take it to a weld shop and let them weld a 2 ft bar to the top of the stripped bolt, only let the add a little weld at a time and douse with water so as not to melt bed, only use it as a last result. You can use a easy out first but if and when it breaks, welding well get it out. Instead of grinding a screwdriver slot, try grinding 2 opposing flats and use a cresent wrench or small pipe wrench to extract bolt.

Then get the SS3 Sports. It's what I have and I drive around all the time with them on because they look cool. I've never been flashed by an oncoming driver. The sports are plenty bright enough, and also much cheaper. You can enjoy them without blinding other drivers, just make sure to aim them correctly.

Silly question but did your jack stands come with those covers or did you improvise with something?

i would go ahead and get the DD SS3’s while they’re on sale. They light up the night and enhance the view.
In my experience, I rarely get “flashed” by oncoming drivers. I took the time to read my state laws and adjust my SS3’s accordingly. A properly adjusted light shouldn’t be shining into oncoming drivers eyes.

Gave it a bath and filled up the tank. It's not much but feels good after it's been sitting in the driveway most of the last month while I had Covid.

Spent an embarrassing 10 hours putting katzkins in yesterday. I think they look better in person than the pictures.

About the same here, I only drive mine once a week or sometimes every two weeks. Been forever since I washed it...it really needed it.
BTW: I also added the "Club" I bought for the Uhaul we used moving here. Since my truck sits in an apartment lot unattended, I though I would make use of it until our home is finished and it goes back in the garage.

Packed up the lights I got, in anticipation of probably having to send them back. The lights are awesome but since I ordered fogs, I need fogs. Kind of sad day.
