Correct me if I'm wrong, but a shock with 1" more travel doesn't necessarily equate to more lift with the same 352 spring. It might offer more droop.

The coil seat is 1” higher so it raises the lift height by 1” as well. It also allows for longer travel so I believe it should equate to keeping my front tires on the ground more often if I need that traction; droop as you mentioned

Well I was right after all. I was definitely not recommended the correct springs (350's) and should have gone with the 352's or 354's. I added a .5 inch spacer from toytec and it lifted the front 1inch. Looks WAYYY better now. Only have 1 inch of rake now from back to front. I took it wheeling today and I could not get the thing to bottom out and rub like it was previously. This is how it should have been sitting all along... I'll try and snap a pic tomorrow if I can remember to.

As @RyanDCLB said previously, whatever you're told to get, go up a size.

Nice, I’ll snag a spacer from them after work then. Hopefully they’re in stock, only 15 min from my house. If you’re local to CO let’s go wheeling sometime!

I did a shake down run yesterday as well and it went very smoothly. No rubbing unless full stuff, full lock, and in reverse. No CMC for me now

I didn't have the new rear IMS Monotube IFP Shocks listed on the first post, so I just added them.

IMS59-50940 - Rear IMS Monotube IFP Shocks for 0-3" (these have been made and are due at Christmas 2021)
IMS59-50941 - Rear IMS Monotube IFP Shocks for 2-3.5" longer travel (2" longer comp and ext lengths than the 50940's). (Stock arrived 11/18/21)

Finished up my install. Really happy with how it turned out, still trying to dial in the adjustments but it already rides a thousand times better than stock.20211124_223812.jpg

What’s your center of hub to bottom of fender measurements?

Roughly 23 inches. It was 23.5 when I took that picture, but after driving it for a few days and getting an alignment it settled a little.

    Update:

My hub to fender measurements after 1 month are now:
21.5 and 21.75 in the front
    22.75 in the rear

That’s about 3/4-1” of front lift and 1/2” in the rear?

    Parts installed:
    221 struts
    352 coils
    UCAs
    940 shocks
    110R leafs

I’m stock weight in the front and 150lbs in the rear. I’ve emailed Dobinsons again to try and get this resolved ASAP because I am now rubbing around town on $1300 new tires.

Interesting that you're on 314's, and @TheColoradoAthlete is on 352's, albeit with added weight. Do you have this measurement by any chance?

@TheColoradoAthlete , are you sure you have 221 MRA's, and not 220's? I think @Crikeymike said at some point the Tacos only get 220's :notsure:

I have GS59-221 struts. Dobinsons came in clutch, they're taking care of it. I'll be replacing them with GS59-220 struts soon and throwing an AAL into the rear.

Those(GS59-220) are the struts I have on mine. They seem to work alright.

I see the product page for those states to use a diff drop kit. Does anyone know if that is necessary?

I've been heavily recommended to not use one unless the lift is substantial, which 2.5-3" is not. You can do some CV boot mods instead if you're worried about it, but I'd rather keep the clearance I can get

So I'm having similar issues to @TheColoradoAthlete at 23" in the rear (settled from 23.75") with Dobinson GS59-940 rear shocks and Icon RXT rear leaf pack on option 2 and IMS front struts w/ 314's measuring at 21" (settled from 22.5). I have no extra weight in front or back besides the "cooler boxes" that come w/ the '21 Trail Edition.

@Crikeymike What springs should I be replacing these 314's with to get me back to 22.5 or even fully level at 23 all the way around after settling?
