I have a 20201 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4. My headlights are soft yellow which are ok. I want to know if I can purchase bright white or a bright blue headlights. I am used to these in my other Toyota cars but Toyota will not sell me upgraded headlights. Help

Welcome to TW! Go to your local Auto parts store and buy some new bulbs for your headlights. I’m running Sylvania Silverstar ZXE bulbs, they are bright, white and they have a sharp cutoff. What’s the reason that your Toyota dealership won’t sell you upgraded headlights?

They told me that a lot of people buy these upgrades and then sell the truck as a TRD pro. So buy a cheaper version and sell for more money.

Okay, so you mean full headlight replacements? You can buy the TRD Pro LED headlights online/from a dealer. Sometimes you need a matching VIN, sometimes not.

FWIW there's more to the TRD Pro than new headlights, and I think it'd be pretty hard to turn a TRD OR into a Pro and come out ahead.

At the price point of the Pro LED headlights, you should consider a retrofit which would give you better light output and some customization unless you just much prefer the aesthetic of the Pro LED headlights.
