    Morning Whateverers

Spotted a golden eagle in our tree yesterday but got horrible pictures. He's come by a few times in this spot so next time I'll try to grab the camera if he stays long enough.

I realized part of what I think intimidates me about hunting again is that I've never handed over game for processing. We did it all :notsure:

Are you keeping any of it or did you give it away to your buddy?...and are you hunting at his place again?

    Added to my cart

Had 5 bucks run up on me. Something must have spooked them a couple ravines over. I could hear them coming so I stood up grabbed my bow and was at the ready. First came 2 button bucks, then 2 spikes with about 6 inch spikes. Next came a perfectly symmetrical 8 pointer, pretty wide and high, not a ton of mass but definitely a shooter. They all stopped at about 15 yards behind a couple trees in some thick brush. They kept looking behind them but weren't super skittish. They milled around a bit and came out of thick, had a possible shot at all 4 except the 8. He stayed in the thicket. The 4 little guys started to trot down the hill past me and then the 8 came out at a pretty good run. Was drawn on him as he went by but couldn't squeeze the trigger at that speed. Grunted a couple times but he never slowed down. Off they went down the hill and out of my life.......:(:annoyed:

It was a blast! That approx one minute of time made up for the 3 previous hours of non-activity.

I hate to tell you but I was on the couch for about 3-4ish months. It was more painful in bed. Sleeping in bed with pain lasted several months longer. To this day I sleep with it propped with a pillow in certain positions. Not sure anything will go back to normal. Overall it is better tho. Hang in there!

Broke my right collar bone 20 years ago now and it still gives me issues. I think Jean Luc knows when it's bad though because he will sometimes sleep on my shoulder so I can't roll around.
