Question: have you had any issues with the starboard warping or bending when the inside of your vehicle gets hot?

 

All done! Even complete with authentic dog hair.



Compression latch works great. I needed something lockable so the dog wouldn’t trigger the latch when I’m driving. He did it twice on the first test run.

 

Very little, but not enough to cause problems. I was concerned about that initially especially living in Texas and that's why I chose to go with the 1/2". I even have it on my tailgate and haven't experienced any issues. Very happy with it.

 

Finally finished my DIY seat delete. 3/4" plywood with a Herculiner finish. Every single cut on this build was done with a jigsaw. Pretty damn happy with how it turned out! Looks really good in person in the truck. I bolted it to the rear seatbelt bolts which will keep it from moving around.

where did you get these drawers from

 

Well it's nothing fancy, but less than $50 and it does the job well. 55"x31" and sanded it down to fit snug, some cheap carpet and done. Removed the lids to the storage bins and it was level, just added some 2x4 in the front to support it.
Dog loves it and I have more space. It's not bolted down so easy to take out and there's no movement in it so don't see a reason to bolt it down. Might add some tie downs though.

i think they were just an eBay special. 50” on the drawer I made and I think I used 30” on for the fridge.
