Yes, I think so. It means my BIL will be retiring a few years early which we've already been discussing for even longer than that, so it's not a huge shocker. It helps them part with some not so great memories and is also a great excuse for us to plan road trips out east

I've had nothing but a lazy day today. Have done nothing but run the vacuum upstairs and down, and washed a load of clothes.

I'd imagine late April would be the earliest we'd consider it for weather reasons. Anything earlier than that and we'd just be asking to get stuck in some random snowstorm.

Have you got more vacation planned before years end?
I haven't put in for any but going to look at schedule when I return on Tuesday.
Now I'm tossing around the idea of going to Michigan for 5 weeks. Overtime and per-diem add up to a nice amount.
