Kliff Kingsbury name is getting thrown around.. Sort of headscratcher with how well Arizona is doing so far.

 

The local news tonight said Lincoln Riley didn't agree with the decision to join the SEC and it probably played a part in his decision to leave.

Supposedly Josh Heupel is in the running for his replacement. I would LOVE to see UT lose another coach

 

USC is an infinitely better job, regardless of conference. Would you rather live in LA or Norman?

 

Well, he was in talks to coach at LSU. What’s a better job immediately: LSU or USC?

 

I believe LSU is the best job available.

my reasoning is simply nfl production. With Les Miles and Ed Orgeron at the helm, LSU has continued to be top 2-3 in nfl production. That’s because there is so much talent there. Year in, and year out. Great recruiting, or not, the talent is there and it always will be.

 

12 to 16 isn't even unreasonable in my opinion. Not a fan of any team getting a bye but I am a big fan of teams earning their keep and not relying on the opinion of a committee to get you there. DII football has a true playoff, as does Basketball and Hockey. The fact that DI doesn't have a real playoff is just asinine. Basketball does 64 teams. DII does 28 teams. Hockey (a much smaller sport) even does 16 teams.

 

Considering Coach O won it all a couple of years ago and got run out, USC looks pretty good.

USC has also made some pretty bonehead hires at coach and AD post Carroll and has ridden out some awful coaching. Riley is going to arrive like a king and doesn’t need to leave SoCal to recruit.

Not playing bama every year is nice, too.

I'm not a big fan of Norman, but I would live there before LA hands down. But I'm not a CA big city kind of guy.

 

I’m no fan of any time I’ve spent in LA, either. That said, LA is still infinitely better than Norman. Being an icon in LA is just a touch different than being one in Norman.
