Front wheels are bowing in on bottom

Do I need a new set of ucas if I put in some 5100s on 04 Tacoma front wheel are bowing in on bottom

 

also they’re on the lowest setting got the assembly from Wheelersoffroad

 

spoke to someone over at wheelersoffroad about the issue they told me to see about possible cam bolt seized does anyone have any knowledge and or experience with this

yes I haven’t did an alignment

 

I've had my 5100s with stock UCAs installed for almost 3 years now. You don't need aftermarket UCAs with 5100s, but they will give you more caster adjustment. I'd get it aligned and see what the shop says.

Nothing to do with the problem but which coils are y’all running with the 5100’s?

Don't do anything or go anywhere except to get an alignment.

Agreed. Well it needs an alignment at minimum, may need parts to properly align, depending on condition of a 17 yo vehicle

Gotta ask. 1st vehicle? Because the implications of tire wear from a bad alignment are pretty rudimentary. Not to mention wonky steering.

Good to know. Mods are fun, but should always come after proper maintenance. Poorly-done mods can be more expensive in the long run than if they were done correctly in the first place if they cause other parts, like expensive off road tires, to fail or wear prematurely.

 

so I was told by someone over at wheelersoffroad to ask alignment shop if my cam bolts are seized am I correct part of an alignment is dealing with cam bolts just don’t feel getting robbed can’t afford it

 

If your cam bolts are seized then the alignment shop will tell you. Well, assuming they are a decent alignment shop and not just giving you a toe-n-go.

 

@ivan ny , best case scenario, if they can't align it due to seized cam bolts, they will cut you a deal on a follow up alignment if you replace the cam bolts (either pay them to replace or do it yourself).

 

would any alignment shop do or should I find somewhere where they deal with pickups possible lifts off-road etc. not sure where I would find that in NY though
