Had michelin, and yokohama tires on our prius, neither lasted over 25k miles. As far as my 2020 tacoma, i never ran the stock firestones. Been running goodyear adventure with kevlar. I don't expect more than 40k miles out of them. In fact i don't remember any tire i've had going over 40k miles

I waited until 50k to change them. Still had tread that would have been good during the summer but winter was coming on and I wanted to go into it with fresh tires.
In my teens and twenties I went through tires rather quickly. I'm certain it was a combination of cheap tires and aggressive driving. Now I buy good tires and drive appropriately.

To anyone over 50k on these stock goodyears: I'd pay to see a tire depth gauge on those tires.

'18 TRD Off Road with Goodyear Wranglers. Currently 40,000 miles and looks like they will go another 10,000. About 10,000 of the current milage has been towing a 3,500# trailer. These are the best Goodyear tires I have had.

I have 52k on mine. Don't have a tread depth gauge but I do have Lincoln's head.

They're due for a rotation. Probably could get another 5k out of em but they're pretty close to dead. Not the best tires I've ever had but thankful they stayed quiet.

So how much are you paying?

Out here in the desert I end up buying new tires about every other year no matter how many miles they have on them. They get hard and slick. The extreme heat just kicks every things ass out here. Just this summer, the heat kicked the cactus asses, true story, you can read about it.
