Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Bare wire properly braided put in place, drop of glue and zip tie to secure the wires to the harness did the trick, I have shaken the hell out of them and still works every time. Cheers.

Is the tcase actuator plugged in? If I recall correctly the ECU looks for a signal from the tcase actuator to engage the front shaft before it will flip the ADD actuator.

I have both Plugs in the case. I just need to jump start the ADD to think it’s in 4wd so I can leave it

Noticeably more road noise but not as loud at MT tires. I also added killmat while I had access. LOL

pin 1 and 2 will need to apply 12v and ground respectively to lock. Use a small motorcycle battery or even a 9volt will work.

I charge a 6 pack for friends that need vehicle work but this year I've upped it to an 8.3 pack. Times are tough

oh, yeah that makes sense haha. It will be the red and white wires. If you’re not sure take an ohmmeter and measure through them to get the motor resistance. You should read around 4-6 ohms.

Does anyone have a transfer case out of the 6 spd FJ cruiser (AWD Torsen VF4B) that they want to get rid of?

the case on the right is what I’m looking for, for reference. It’s an inch longer than the case found in the auto trans FJs and has a 22 spline male input shaft

And here’s the end goal for anyone curious. I’ve done the AWD conversion once now in my 6spd, now im looking to do the same in my 5spd
