What are your thoughts on the fitment of the center console cover?

    Not who you asked, but.

I took the console lid off, removal of a few screws and installed some 2" foam between the lid and the cover and it looks very tight and bonus padding...

it is a pain to remove the console lid and I had to use a trim tool to wedge the cover back on, but it works and is worth it. it is easier to slip the cover on just the lid with it removed.

instructions to remove the lid are around, you have to remove a bunch of screws on the bottom of the lid and remove it and then remove 4 screws to access the hinge mechanism to remove the lid. it is not hard or difficult..

That's the exact route I went but without the foam so I think I will give that a try before going without or with another type of cover. I like the ones that redline offer and they are priced well.

Out of the box, it's just not the nicest fit no matter how much you play with it. It's been brought up before by a other people in this thread.
You can modify it to make it look decent with a few extra steps. Like the foam that I mentioned. Otherwise it will look a bit baggy.

I'm sitting on a set of these that were only installed for 1000 miles. Sold my taco and got into a 4runner. The standard black leather for 3rd gen with power seat. If anyone is looking for some, feel free to DM me. Though I've been a member for quiet a few years, I unfortunately do not have enough posts to create a FS listing

Yeah, center counsel looks terrible. But, the seats look great. Love the contrast of the light and dark and the colored stitching

Yeah, I'm not impressed with the center console either so it will be coming out soon and replaced with something more to my liking

Like that you have the backseat plastic was retained. any step by steps doing it since I want to go that route too. I don't like seeing the straps when I put them down.

    thanks!

It's easy. You don't need a step by step. Just eye ball where the holes are and cut into it. Thats what I did and it came out fine.

Mine arrived in 2 days. It said they were in stock when I ordered them (that's actually why I went with black/black/black configuration, instead of doing some kind of custom stitching or insert). They shipped from the Los Angeles area (Santa Fe Springs, to be exact), and I only live about an hour from there.

Got my seats in today while I was out. It was 8pm so I decided to take the seats off so I can see better and I’m glad I did because I felt it helped me get them on perfect. Woulda took maybe an hour or so but the headrests are annoying to get on but worth it

Is super easy to remove them and makes install way easier for the front seats. Rear seats don’t need to be removed

Got my Clazzios installed, these things are GORGEOUS!! Worth every penny! Opted for the US production, got them in just over 5 weeks. Went with perforated leather, black on black with red stitch. Install was not bad at all, definitely difficult if you take your time to get them in perfect, but worth the effort. Took about 4 hours for the covers. At this point, I have only wired the drivers seat heater, wanted to do a trial run before mounting the switches. Heaters work fine, they do take a little longer to heat up than I was hoping, but I love having the heated seats. Got the custom embroidery on the head rests, came up with a unique design. Did all the headrest covers first, not sure why other people were finding it necessary to come up with crazy techniques to put them on. I just left the headrests in place, grabbed the covers with both hands, stretched apart, and slipped them on. It was that easy. Then I took the headrests off the seats to get the J-hooks in. That was slightly a pain in the ass, but not too bad. Then I did the front seat backs with heat pads. I think its a good idea to do the bottoms last so you are not pushing down on the bottom covers with your knees while putting the other covers on. Then I unbolted the front seats and did the bottoms and heat pads. Worth the extra 30 seconds to unbolt the seats just so you can move them around inside the truck to get underneath, helps with routing the strings and heat pad harnesses properly, and to attach the clips. Next I did the rear seat backs. Removed the back plastic panels and installed the covers, still have to make some cuts so I can get the panels back on over the covers, but with the rear seat backs locked in place, you cant even tell. Then I did the rear seat bottoms. Still need to re-cinch everything to get them tighter and improve the fit, but they look great as is. I could not be happier with these, would recommend to anyone considering leather seat covers. Thank you Logan and all from Clazzio, you guys have a quality product!!
