Just finished up my solar install. Everything seems to be working great! Bluetooth module is sweet but the cord is insanely long. The connection is RJ12 so I need to find one of those RJ cable tools to be able to shorten it. Anybody have one I could borrow?

*turns out my old RJ45 crimper also has an RJ12 slot. Just need to grab a new connector.

 

Looks good, I was thinking about the Bluetooth module, that is a lot of cable.

 

Back home. I have tomorrow off as well if you guys wanted to meet up somewhere.. @Atl-atl @MR E30 I'm just going to be playing with the camper all day I think. Not too much maintenance to do on the taco.. it did fantastic.

Isnt there someone on here that does or has a line on blacked out headlights? Id like to get a set of 3rd gen BHLM headlights. Regular TRD Offroad projector housing with the small DRL ones. As much as Id love them, Im not trying to spend $1500 on 2020 LEDs.

Thanks to @AZC Edge for updating my KDMax tune to KDPro and doing the AGM battery tweak so I can get the most out of my dual battery and solar panel. The new "pro" tune significantly improved the insane throttle response from the max tune. Its still very quick but its much more finely tuned to actual throttle percentage. Also maybe its butt dyno but the tune in general seems to have added some power throughout the RPM range.

 

Yeah, I think someone finally adjusted the fuel and timing tables in the Pro version. I noticed a difference. They said the new tune octane learns from 85-93 so now you can actually make max power for whatever octane fuel you’re using. Since we can’t see the maps to review, I can only make assumptions on what they have been changing in each version. I also paid for the AGM upgrade when I got a new battery which kind of pissed me off. I get that I’m paying for the time it took them to develop their maps which is totally fair but the alternator output voltage is 1 value and it’s not a secret. That’s like charging extra to change the tire size in the map which is just a part of what you should be doing anyways.

 

Need to have @AZC Edge update mine from Max to Pro as well...
