On their website it lets you do GOVX ID to get a discount. Looks like it's actually for more than just military:
    This offer is eligible for:

    • Current & former U.S. military
    • Military spouses & dependents
    • First responders including law enforcement, fire, and EMS
    • Federal, state, and local government employees
    • Teachers (K-12 and University teachers/staff)

With the help of my friend last night, we got the Tepui Ayer II off, switched out the short legs (6” tall) back to the tall legs (8” tall) on the FRO Slimline II bed rack, and drilled out additional holes on the FRO tracks to add 1 extra bolt on each track for added stability (that’s been long overdue, lol).

The Tepui Ayer II is about 14” tall closed. With the taller legs on the bed rack and lower profile rtt, this still oughta clear the apartment’s parking garage gate that’s got a 6’8” clearance. Hopefully, the setup would still clear if I mount a solar panel and/or traction boards on top of the rtt.

I bought a heated seat cushion for $34 from Amazon a couple of years ago. Works better than expected. I take it out in the late spring.

Interesting because my ditch lights barely clear the windshield with the stock metal rod crap. The Redline hood struts worked perfectly.

Yes, 16 inch wheel option on SOS performance site. Fits all day. You just have to remove the entire backing plate. I hammered that thing all kinds and it just wouldn't fit. When I replace my hub in the future, I'll add the shims then so the backing plate can clear.

Great thing about tacomas is the used market. You can find OEM 17 wheels for like 150 bucks if you wait, and then resale your old wheels. I actually made $500 purchasing the TRD wheels pictured and reselling my old stuff.

Great post! I've been looking for a solution to raise my FRO bars just a little higher, so that I can store things on top of the Diamondback cover (under the RTT). When I purchased everything directly from FRO, they told me they didn't have any taller legs than the ones I purchased. I just went out and measured them, and they appear to be the same ones you just upgraded from (5.5" tall, or 6" with the "foot" bracket that mounts to the track).

Do you happen to have the part number for the 8" legs? I want to call them up and order them (or maybe I can just order them directly from their site?).
