I got one of their first run receiver sets but haven't gotten any other parts to put it together yet. I think I am going to go with the 11" barrel when I do, I have a 7.5" and 10.5" .300BLK and for me I feel like the 7.5" is almost too short, the 10.5" is the perfect balance of compact and lightweight but still big enough to have stable aiming and firing.

The downside to going down this road, is that now I want them all....

I already have a 300AAC, so getting a pistol variant would be fun as I already have the ammo. Plus, regular AR lowers are generally a bit more affordable. So there is a part of me that things I should maybe go with a regular AR lower and get the endomags or whatever they are called to make a couple of pistol caliber mags.

    Same crap everyone else got
I've thought about the endo mag thing but my complete 9mm lower was only like $150 complete from psa so not really a large investment so it's worth it to keep it as a dedicated 9mm. I still may grab some endo mags as I see them used pretty regular on reddit.

That's about the price I'm seeing regular AR lowers assembled. The lowest I've seen for an assembled pistol caliber lower is $215.

So I'm kind of ashamed to admit to this but today was the first time I've ever shot at anything over about 200 yards. I'm mostly a pistol guy.

Went out with some guys from work and was able to ring some steel at 810 yards borrowing one of their rifles. And was able to get hits on a gong at 300 unsupported with my new AK.

    Weird question for you guys
If a person buys a brand new pistol
At the store and he/she goes to shoot it
For the first time and it turns out to be
    Fully auto
    Can/will he/she get in trouble?
the pistol is brand new never been messed with

My understanding is that "yes" that person could get into trouble. You should contact the manufacturer and let them know of the issue so that they can make it right.

A guy I used to work with had that happen on an AR. He contacted the mfg and they sent him a replacement trigger assembly. Did not ask for the old one back....so he could go full auto with a trigger swap. (I think it was the trigger. If it wasn't, it was something easy to change.)

The disconnector was probably installed incorrectly.

Right on. We were also out shooting the other day, and were plinking a 12" plate at 325 with my WASR using regular ol' TulAmmo and a red dot. AKs are a lot more accurate than they get credit for.

Had a 300Blk SBR recently getting some double taps. Turns out one of the pins had backed out slightly cause the trigger assy to go a little cockeyed.

Sad times my dudes. Recently purchased a Staccato P DPO, and not only is it the single most expensive out of the box gun I've ever purchased, but it's having more malfunctions than every gun I've ever owned combined. Slide won't lock back on empty, stove-piping every other round, sometimes even dropping mags from the magwell in the middle of firing.

What's worse is I purchased private party from my LEO friend because he bought another for cheaper through a LEO group buy at work, so the warranty is technically void which I didn't realize, even though the gun had never been fired except for the test round from the factory. So in a nutshell I might be on the hook for whatever repairs this thing needs. Staccato's rep said they would do their best to take care of it, but ultimately it's up to the warranty team to decide, so now I get to wait to hear back whether they'll approve it or not.

Even if they do cover it, can't say it feels too good spending so much on this thing and not having it perform flawlessly out of box, especially considering how long I saved, and how eager I was to get it. Anyway, that's my day. How about you guys?
