    There is...
I would have to adjust the shift points and make you a custom tune.
When we made this tune, we wanted the truck to get to high gears, but still be able to "pull" at low rpms. It does. This keeps it from shifting up and down so much.
If you are interested in something different, PM me.

I just hate how it drops to 1300 and if your gradually increasing speed, it lugs and feels jerky, cuz your increasing speed in to high of gear. Think it would be way smother if it stayed around 1900

I found the same situation with mine and requested Kreg to tweak the shift points based on speed and light throttle. The end result is running around 1500 to 1900 rpm and never upshifting to 5th gear below 45 mph. Long and short of it is, all (most), of my city driving in D is done in 1-4 absolutely no bogging. On the hwy side it won’t see 6th til it’s over 60 mph.

It was done on the KDM6 and I asked him to transfer the same parameters to the Pro tune. All working great.

@PapaRee is a good guy to work with, too.

It’s pretty easy to get the Pro customized a bit. if you FIY (flash it yourself), ask Kreg to tweek it to where you’re happy and you’ll be good to go.

Have folks noticed a difference running 87 or premium on the Pro tune in terms of performance?

If you are on the fence on getting your truck tuned don’t wait. The KDMax PRO is the real deal. I’ve had the chance to test plenty of tunes and this one by far the smoothest one to date. The shifting is how Toyota should have done it from the get go. And when you get on it the shifting is nice and smooth too. Thanks for the update @PapaRee

this also interests me…I would like it to stay in 4/5th a little longer before jumping to 6th, the 45mph seems like a good cutoff.

You may want to talk to Roseville Parks and Rec first. They don't look too kindly on people doing business in the park without getting permission. It could ruin your day. How do I know, you ask? I used to work for them.

You can avoid issues if you talk to the maintenance staff (lead person) that are stationed there. They are located in the enclosed yard on the left side of the ball fields. Get to them early(6:30am) and definitly days before your event.

Who knows, you might get some more business as some of the guys drive Tacos.

EDIT: called the guys and let them know, so should be OK, but I'd still advise talking to them.

Thanks for the advice. We’ve held a few events there in the past without issue, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t just get lucky. Thanks again

I just called the senior tech who works out of that park. He said it should be fine- softball ending. I've seen people get booted because their event interferred with another scheduled event. I'd hate for that to happen to you.

If you haven't upgraded or been tuned at all. I don't know what you're waiting for. Do yourself and the Taco a favor and get kdmax pro

I drive home in stop and go traffic, the sport throttle isn't touchy but the power is there to keep the lane jumpers honest.

Thank you to the creators of this tune and thank you @wahoobie for tuning my tacoma in Virginia

Just go back about 8-10 pages.
It was just released Nov. 14. There’s quite a few reviews from people who upgraded.
