Spent another $100+ on cat food and treats for the cats and dogs.


Shout out to my favorite local beef source for donating maybe 15 lbs of steak for the thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for the doggos. I may branch out and feed a second local shelter’s dogs for Christmas depending on how many dogs they have at that time.

I’ve been sick and injured so I haven’t been able to get back to the shelter this week plus I’m swamped with work. But I guarantee I’ll get some pictures tomorrow.

 

Re: thanksgiving dinner
The shelter is run by the city so city employees can actually board their dogs when space is available. Currently they are also boarding dogs from two separate house fires. When I showed up with steak dinner for the doggos, there were 14 boarding dogs and only one adoptable dog. The only adoptable gal will be scooped up soon. She is so sweet. I didn’t venture into the cat cave due to allergies but I’ll attach a quarantined kitty and escapee. The cats and dogs enjoyed the steak dinner and they’re all loving the new blankets.
