    That is everything right now.
    I'm in distribution and things that normally took 5 weeks to ship are now 16-24 weeks out.
    Something's like electronic components that used to take 5 weeks aren't shipping til late next year.
    And huuuuge steel surcharges.

    Hey OP and all. What do y’all recommend for preset settings for not armor in front, just TRD skid. 10mm?

    plan to install 285/75/16 KO2s on the stock rims. Looking for 2.5inch lift in the front. I got the medium leaf spring set from OME.

    picked up a barely used set of BP-51 coilovers and while I had was able to install them pretty easily I would like to know what the official instructions are from ARB.

    Just to make sure I did everything 100%.

    Anyone have a link, pdf, or barely legible blurry cell phone pic??

    Having to drill the lower rear shock mount bracket makes me feel like I'm missing something :/

    I've done an plethora of reading and still unsure about the answer to my question.

    If I only have a skid plate in the front and nothing else, can I get away with 15-20mm of preload without damaging anything else? ARB is telling me it will ride rough, which I don't care about. My local off road shop is telling me it could cause a leak and void my warranty which I don't want. Right now it is at 5mm preload and the rake on my truck is gross. measured from hub center, rear: 24.5" front: 22". I want to level out my truck but I'm torn at how to take the information. I dont do serious off-roading my any means. Its more of a mud pony than anything.

    Cause a leak? like from topping out too hard?

    Maybe start with 15mm and see what you think.

    Based on your post above (not alot of off roading)

    I'd say your best is to keep the preload at what ARB recommends (~10mm) and add top plate spacers. Super simple to install and you can find tune the ride height.
    Some people will give you sh** for it but it is a perfectly safe and acceptable method to gain ride height. Just don't go crazy (3+" spacers)

    I HIGHLY recommend watching this guy's videos. Best explanation Iv herd and he debunks some of the myths that alot of us believed without actually testing it.

    Thanks for the video reccomendation I will check them out. I was curious about a 1 in top spacer, but wouldn't that mess with my CV linkage? I havent really read into the pros and cons of top spacers.

    The over all ride height is what is important. In my opinion the CV joint (and UCA) can handle a 0-2.5" with no issues. A 1" lift from spring pre load and a 1" inch lift from a top plate spacer is the same if only considering ride height. You will however be altering your down and up travel which will not affect anything provided you are not doing any heavy off roading.

    Went to install my BP-51's and the preload is set to 5mm out of the box VS the 20mm it says its supposed to be. This lack of attention to detail makes any reasonable person think "did they miss other things like seals, clips, bushings, internal torque specs, etc..." Not the best start to the $$$ OME upgrade. The official ARB dealer is incapable of adjusting the coil overs o_O???

    ARB customer service says "use most any old spring compressor claw style and its not too hard"

    They changed the factory preload a while back but not the documentation. Mine were also set at 5mm preload out of the box.

    Where did you end up with the preload and what if any bling are you running?

    I've got a Dual Comp, 90lbs of steel skids, and the SuperCharger so I'm thinking 10mm?
