Also would have made getting Grandma home a lot easier than the "twine" solution...

Well if you don't wanna buy another product. Go into your junk drawer and get the "industrial grade" superglue you opened 3 years ago...

    He's just playing dumb.

Remember...motive and opportunity. Miss his kibble by .02 seconds and you best bet you will be chemically adhered to a cheap to manufacture foreign sourced children's pool.

All ridiculousness of this product aside.. when you search "flated truck" google automatically searches for "flatbed truck"

As a digital marketing guy, that's gonna cost you a lot of website traffic..

This would be great for when you roll into water. Just have some paddles and paddle away.

And this guy's excitement to carry it sells it for me!!!

Ok.. I know this is dangerous even responding to this. But half the comments had me laughing uncontrollably. I'm one of the co-founder of FLATED and no we didn't "put together this realistic looking website just for a prank." That one had me laughing the hardest I think. It is a product and a line of products that we have been working on for two years. All of us Founders worked in the Paddle Board industry and have been working with the technology for the past 10 years.

We had a similar response on a Reddit post, so one of my partners/ lead product tester put this video together today.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSPoD_uspdw

Let the questions fly, we have thick skin... I think, but this group is rough so I'm a bit nervous.

Good on you for being:thumbsup: brave enough to enter this forum. The technology put into this product is interesting. I have looked at it for inflatables. Rigid and light. Good combination. If I was in the market for a canopy, I would consider it for the ability to store and move with out any help.

Hope this doesn't turn too ugly for you.

    What’s up Flat Ed!!

What is the UV rating for the exterior fabric?

How much weight can the topper carry? He mentions the d rings are rated for 1000lbs. That can’t be the capacity?

    Are they made in China?

    Yo.. Mabe Possibly.

I've never seen a UV rating number on any Drop Stitch Material, but I can guarantee that you won't get sunburnt while sleeping under it!

The material is a 3 layer construction with a Protective UV layer on the outside, over time it is very suggested that you use a 303 type cleaner that keeps a UV barrier to protect the product, just as you would with a nice white water raft, sup or anything else inflatable.

How much can it carry? Well, our liability lawyer says we cant show the photo but we've had nearly 500lbs of American males standing on top. As far as highway load, we've had inflatable SUPs on the top at highway speeds with no issue.

Its produced in Vietnam. We are researching a custom show here in the states that one day could upscale to produce them here, but at this time that doesn't exist.

    What's the air-down procedure for going off-road? :anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:

Drop-stitch platforms are stupidly stiff. I have an inflatable kayak that fits in an awkward backpack. Best kayak ever. That thing tracks almost as well as a hard shell, but I could throw it in the bed when camping, along with a cooler, stack of wood, luggage and a generator, AND still close the tailgate.
