I have a really hard time believing that if I took this into Toyota they would find a fish scale to tug at a lug stud with, some tech would look at the 43# number, yoink it down and send it.

article describes a couple instances where he (Matt) deliberately committed fraud, sounds like just a few cases of many...not sure how these usually pan out but we'll see.

What he did was wrong obviously but up to 15 years in prison for a 'victimless' crime seems pretty crazy to me. Then again it is Utah

I mean you have to know you're gonna get caught if you're relying on strangers to help you defraud a major corporation by trusting them to not rat you out lol. At some point someone's gonna do it.
