Did a deal with @Triple-s for a set off a 2021. Basically brand new. A couple of knicks on the sticker, from takeoff I assume, but otherwise these things are MINT. He doesn't have enough comments to post in the BST section, so he reached out via PM since he saw I was asking around, we exchanged numbers and communicated through text. He says he has a pair of rears, also off a 2021, if anyone is interested, then PM him for more info. He was prompt with communication, and they were just as advertised when I got them.

Thank you!! Beyond stoked to find a set of these in such good shape. Just waiting for my rear AAL to arrive so I can get them on.

hi, curious…what are owners doing with the fronts? Are they adding spacers? What rear shocks pair with the front Pro Fox?

Probably best to pair front/rear with matching shocks (because valving is matched), but not required. Unfortunately, seems hard to find JUST front (or rear), as these tend to be sold as a set of 4.

Yea, agree that I would match F/R, but curious here to why these multiple sets of rears are available.

I ran fronts only for 3 years. I didn't find the stock valve rate complementary in the rears but that was just my preference.

The shock damping and valving are paired with the spring they are mated with and not the other end of the truck. The spring creates the kinetic energy that the shock is valved to dampen. So whatever leafs you switch to you should revalve the rear shock for or change and really doesn’t have anything to do with the front coilovers.

The Off Road and Pro have the exact same leaf spring rate. They’re supposed to be responsive to the pro shocks in the rear without a change needing to be made.

Im more curious how someone gets multiple sets of rear only pro shocks... Not saying they are stolen, but rear shocks dont need a jack, are 2 bolts, and only require a few tools to remove silently.

Maybe he installs them, at least that's what I'm guessing.

Where are the fronts then? Its like if someone was selling car radios without the faceplate. (if your young you may not know that aftermarket car radios used to have removable faceplates to prevent theft. You would take the faceplate with you when you left the car)

Ha! I get it, that's why i asked what people are pairing the fronts with.

I'm old enough to remember (owned) the pull-outs, those would get stolen and be just about worthless without the sleeve

Yep, always would see them up on ebay, no harness, no sleeve, no faceplates, ebay in the 2000s was a lawless place before it became infested with brand new items being sold by drop shippers.

sure, your preference suited you. My point is that it isn’t pairing with the front coilovers it is pairing with the rear leaf is what matters.

Not to mention, people slap the pro coilovers on the OR with the weaker traction or swaybar they were designed for but that is also a preference as well.

Easy these we're taken off for research/ testing purposes. In place of a different brand or different style of shock on the vehicle. When asked what to do with said parts most companies don't care what you do with them they only want the data even the vehicle's them self's get sold for discounted rates with salvaged titles for some reason or scraped.

I used to get teary eye when the 18 wheeler would come to pick up the vehicle's most of them all current models. I would ask the driver so who's buying these or what auction are they going to but nope they are getting transported to the wrecking yard to be crushed.

Where are YOU getting these TRD PRO Fox shocks (rears only)? Are you working on the research/testing team?
