    Thank you, Hector.
I honestly love the raptor, I'd love it more if I could actually afford it.
Truth be told, I am just looking for inexpensive ways to make my truck more pleasing to my eye's, before starting more expensive ventures with it.

Stick around here for just a little while and you will start those more expensive ventures sooner than you think :spending:

Next time I need the extra 4-5k loan for the off road, can I get it from you interest free?

That's what I did with my truck and after one year it hasn't stopped. I blame TW 100%, no way am I looking at footwell lights and interior chrome delete kits without seeing how awesome they make a truck look here on TW.

Maybe so, but now I know why they put the scoop on it...it's to make sure all the panties thrown at us don't block the windshield :anonymous:

Douche and Poser. Everyone and their sister is doing raptor lights these days. I've even seen them on CRVs and Rav 4s. :crapstorm:

It's okay to get an OR and then buy a hood with a skewp and get raptor lights.

Not sure if you have looked at the market lately, but they're not the same price right now, on the average, a minimum of 3-5k a part. I would have bought an off road if I could have afforded it; thanks for your two cents though, I'll make sure to inquire with you the next time I'm in the market to buy a truck that is over my budget.

Yeah man, I'm starting to get the feeling its like the equivalent of getting tattoos, one will never be enough.

I brought my 2021 a year ago the base MSRP for TRD-off road and sport is exactly the same for Off-Road and Sport.
I just checked on Toyota website as off today:
2022 TRD Off-Road is $37,655 MSRP, DCSB, V6 AT, no option or package
2022 TRD Sport is $37,630 MSRP, DCSB, V6 AT, no option or package.

Right, but I was referring to current used market. Its tough out there right now, man. Ideally I would have liked a new Off Road, DCLB, but I simply can't afford one. Furthermore, I couldn't find a used off road SB, or LB, with reasonable starting mileage that was even remotely close to my budget. There simply is not much out there right now, I purchased my truck last Wednesday; its the first truck I've ever owned, and with gas prices being out of control, my timing was shit. However, I wanted what I wanted, I knew if I was getting a truck it had to be a taco.

    I like them.
I put them on my truck.
It's been a year and I still like them.
If someone else doesn't like them, that has no bearing on my decision.

Also, I have only ever seen one other Tacoma with them in town. If there were more, I might have a different opinion on them.

I got no hate in my heart left anymore, just josselin ya. Some applications they do look great. Wide fender flares on a baja style truck, I can see it. Grandpa's tacoma, not so much ;)

Does aesthetics not count? Pleasing the eye is a legitimate function. It's probably what 90% of all mods being done are about.

I don't think they are as common as one would think browsing these forums. I hardly ever seen them on the road.

I haven't done anything major to my Tacoma so not a Baja truck. Definitely not a grandpa yet, either! :p
